No, I was incorrect. It did change your thread title for the first post, but didn't change the thread title in the forum. Sorry. I guess a mod will have to change it. I could have sworn that I've changed a thread title before, but I must have been mistaken. But seeing the first post, you did try to change the thread title, so that was the right thing to do, so that should be taken to your credit as evidenced by the first post in this thread, and hopefully this nightmare will end for you. Thanks for that, Kubaton. Just a note here, the older game hasn't yet been updated for those sizes. The Retina mentioned in the upsell text was valid at the time but it a bit out of date now with "New Retina" coming along. We'll be addressing this in the new year though. The newer game supports all resolutions as you'd expect.
They can only hate (and pick) on your team because they haven't won an award, lol. I can't say much for myself, and I'm certainly not hating, because GLWG and GBWG are great! What a great dev though, I have to say. You answered to a fan with another sale, I'm sure many devs wouldn't do that.

As far as the PR goes, I think I speak for a lot of us when I say you're doing the right thing. It means a lot to me, and I'm sure a lot of others, to get that personal touch. Keep doing what you're doing, at least until you get so big you forget about us little guys.

Someone = nightc1 ... Fairly new member here but I have over 35,000 posts on, of all places, IGN. Heck I even freelance wrote for them for a short while. I really appreciate getting GLWG for free. I bought GBWG thinking it was the one to play but was curious about the first title. ... You can't edit your own titles here. Only mods seem to have that power. You can change the title in the first post... but it doesnt affect the thread title. I can't believe a fairly new person here like me knows this but others here don't. ... To the dude that compared this to the Golden Globe award deal. Um, as great as this place is, it's not the front of a game box. If anyplace is it would be the AppStore. If you had looked before typing all that crap you'd have seen it mentioned clearly in the app description on the AppStore that the award was from IGN. The naysayers don't have a leg to stand on here. But things have never been rosy between the two of us, and if you want I can dig up your Disqus comments for all who think you're a good man to see - the way you attack the naysayers and the manner in which you treat gamers in general (edit: nevermind you just plainly called me an asshole above). "Pavlov's dog" might sound very familiar to you. In any case, the IGN Mobile Games Award has been a farce, so I don't see why you should be trumpeting said triumph. They awarded Bad Piggies as GotY, and that's it. You know you cannot take them seriously anymore.

For my part in it I was explaining how the business works and you were setting yourself up as "the voice of the gamer", conveniently sidestepping the fact that a majority of gamers actually play and pay in freemium games, and you intimated they were morons. But I seriously don't want to go over all that again, even if you go and find an out of context quote to make me look bad. And especially as right now we don't even sell any freemium games ourselves. Can someone tell me whats the difference Great LITTLE war game and Great BIG wargame??? I have GLWG, but i am afraid to buy a similar game, so please tell me the differences, if any. Thanks!
Being a sequel it's the same sort of gameplay, but BIG is bigger in every way, more units, more missions, more maps, etc. The big new feature though is cross platform asynchronous multiplayer. There's a buttload of usability improvements too, some of which came from our player base.
Jeez calm down about the title! He was just so excited that he won such an award that he didn't think the title further. Sure he forgot IGN Mobile from it, but it says it in the app description and if you were wise enough, you would've checked it. Leave this guy alone, he's a good man and he made(with his company) the two best TBS games on the App Store
Gosh all this just make me feel to buy this game even if I was not so into the first one! Support for the adults behaving as such and just celebrating an award. This is worse than what has happened in the past when TA just expressed an opinion and names the GOTY!
I have never been a big TBS fan, but this game is a must have IMHO, and probably one of my favourite 5 games I have played on iOS and there have been hundreds. The IAP is also really reasonably prices and adds even more to the game
