Eminem, he's not exactly a band but he sounds just like he does on CD.

The Parlor Mob... which is nothing like anything that's been posted so far.

The Parlor Mob are good. You can hear the Zep but it's not just blatant plagarism.

    Right. Behind. You.
We need The Who, Anvil, Metallica, Slipknot, and Motley Crue.

Replace Motley Crue with Megadeth... and shoot Lars Ulrich through the skull and you've got a deal.

Sarcasm my arse! I saw Dragonforce in 2008, they were great fun. Lots of (elitist) people don't like the cheesiness but it's not supposed to be taken seriously, it's all about having a laugh. Nice guys too.

At the time, almost every popular band was amazing live, but this man was a God.

slipknot was something to see from 1998 till about 2002 but now they are what they stood against back then and its sad kind of like seeing my grandpa turn the stove off all day long

Traffic sounds better live than in studio, like most bands that treat virtuosity as a value. Judging by what's been posted so far, TA members don't really pride musicianship.

The VU live never sounds boring live, but not always for the better. John Cale and Lou Reed in their solo careers' are great live also.

This thread should be titled, "Bands I Think Are Great Live, and Why I Embrace Communism".
