Universal Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (by Rockstar)

I'm loving this. I played a lot of this the last few days. The music, the loud suits, just really creates a great 80's vide for the game. Its bought back a lot of memories as well as it was 9 or 10 years ago when i first placed this and got addicted and played it non stop !

I mean just driving around is great, trying to avoid the cops, or trying to see how many stars you can get and survive for as long as poss. The missions at the beginning are good, so far quite easy. I'm used to the controls now but yeah some of the later missions might be tricky with touch screen controls

But just amazing to have this game on my device and take it wherever i go, brilliant !

You had to swipe across the bottom left of III, on the name of the station. Not sure about this one, haven't gotten the game yet.

 

Right at the start,there's a house across from the lawyers place,it is $1500

 

Get an M16 it helps alot

 

Are the Cubans missions required? Same question for love fist missions and biker missions. Also,where is a helicopter with weapons? I've flown over the airport in a chopper and I couldn't find an armed one,and did they remove the airplane that could sit on water? Haven't found it anywhere,I'm pretty far into the game,I have 2 properties (poll position and cherry popper)

 

The sea plane is behind the porno studio. I don't know if it's in the iOS version, but that's where it was in the other versions. There is a helicopter with weapons but you need either all the story missions or all the hidden packages.

 

Anyone else feel like the draw distance sucks? Police chases and regular driving around town sucks with a empty town. Anyway to increase it? I am jailbroken so if there's anyway at all let me know

Yeah draw distance is terrible. III was really good but this one sucks. I hate that we had to sacrifice that probably in order to have fancier human models and lighting effects. Same.

 

I must admit the draw distance is annoying, a few times i've been going crazy smashing cars/running people over and then all of a sudden a police car appears, if i had seen it in the distance i wouldnt have gone 'smash crazy'

Must be some cheats out there, worth doing a search and see if theres a way of entering some of the old original ones. On the other hand for a 'premier' priced iOS game it'll ruin it if you cheat and get tons of cash instantly etc

 

Anyone got past the RC plane mission where you bomb the Cuban boats? It's really hard to aim right and you only get 3 planes...tips?

 

I thought the RC copter was hard enough.

To change the draw distance (among other things) try editing the gta_vc.set file in the Documents folder of the app with a hex editor.
