Much better than GTA 3 and from Sanuku's video it looks like the new controls are infinitely better than either of them in San Andreas
I actually do, yes. Though I haven't seen my DC copy in a while... That GBC version though... Worst one by far. So difficult to play with limited controls and tiny screen. I've also attempted playing GTA advance on a Gameboy Micro and felt just silly doing it I also enjoyed the odd ones like Chinatown Wars on DS. I was actually the only guy waiting in front of the game store on release day! You could say I'm a bit of a GTA nut. I figure they'll keep making them as long as I keep buying them. But I guess that's not much of a concern with GTA V's sales figures...
How does this game look visually on ios compared to the past games? Are the graphics better or about the same?
Looks good, just worried about the controls, especially driving and shooting. I haven't played any of the GTAs on IOS. Would like to hear some comments if the controls are close to the console versions? And yes I realize they were a bit wonky too
San Andreas is the best of all the GTA games, and I would hope the controls are spot on because they need to be. It probably helps that I was already hopelessly entrenched in that kind of music, but the gang plot and theme was awesome and consistent all the way through the game. The radio stations better be untouched. Just a reminder to everyone, for an app this huge it makes sense to buy it in iTunes on your PC, and install it onto your iDevice from there - that way you only need the 'installed' space, not combined. I am leery about the port of this engine, SA was a terribly clunky engine that never had a decent PC port (do any of them?) and if there are framerate issues on my iPad 3 I will simply delete the game. Oh, I can't wait to find that perfect purple convertible lowrider to park in my garage....
Heheheheh. I so hope this will last more than any other mobile GTA-installment for me. (Chinatown Wars being the exception). Played GTA:SA about two hours on my PS2 when it was out. Traded it for a blow job.* So far it seems like it will. *Based on actual events. Might have been dramatized for effect.
I'm so excited! I've played my fair share of Vice city so far, and I've loved it, this looks even better. I have to say though, after the realitvely non-profane story of vice city, I was slightly suprised at how much there was in the first twenty minutes compared to the hours of VC (I'm don't think it's a bad thing, just noting it). Can't wait for eight!

Disappointed you need to sign in with a social club about to enable cloud saves. I think I'll just use itools.
