Usually in Australia everything comes up at about 3-4am. It's 7 now ans no gta any suggestions guys? EDIT: finally found it! It's still not coming up under 'gta' or 'san andreas' and the New Zealand link wasn't working. so I had to find it by going through the 'related' tab in vice city. So if anyone else has an issue maybe that jell help
The biggest thing I need to know are how is flying a plane with the controls, and how is the aiming? Like Max Payne mobile? I like te ability to have free aim,if so did they finally let you use 3 fingers to aim? (Moving the camera, firing, and moving all at once)
Any screenshot or video? I'm really curious to see how well they implemented the controls. GTA 3 and VC were barely playable.
I agree. Bought GTA III a couple of weeks ago and for me is unplayable because of those terrible controls. Rockstar never updated the game to address the issue and I think they never will. As long as I feel I wasted my money with GTA III I won't buy another Rockstar game. You can find Sanuku's video on one of the first pages of this thread. I don't know how the controls feels, but it looks almost the same.
"I'm suprised we didn't see LBS and VCS first. I know they came out after San Andreas, but they were made for kind of playing on the go." This is exactly how I thought it would go down as well. I figured those games are already portable, so they'll probably release one a year and then drop san andreas in 2 years, when the tech is even better than it is now. I'm glad I was wrong, but I'm definitely still surprised.
Just looking at Sanuku's gameplay vid and comparing it to the original ps2 the jump in visual fidelity is simply incredible. This'll be the first time in months I'll be up for the 11pm release. I've completed III and poured dozens of hours into VC, never had any significant issues with the controls. Remember that combat has always been rather wonky in the GTA games. The driving, however, is purrrfect. They even nailed the camera.
I see what you mean, i was the same. Got caught up in the hype and bought Vice City ios and hardly played it... One of the reasons was lack of time and the other was that i quickly got over the novelty of having GTAVC on my idevice. However, like you say, if Rockstar developed an entirely new GTA game for ios....ooooohweeee! NOW we're talking.
For me SA is an entirely new game. I never owned a PS2, and my PC back then sucked compared to the minimum specs to play SA on PC, so it's the first time I'll get to play this one, while I've played GTA3, GTA:VC and their PSP counterparts to death. I guess several others will be in the same situation.
Same here. I never played GTA:San Andreas on my own back then. I only watch relatives play them. I never though that the three GTA is in my pocket now.
Dang, wish they would come out with a decent stick for the ipad, this game would work wonders with a joystick I bet.
