I'm having a great time with the game! Sure there are some issues you just have to go to options and see which contr set up suits you best. I'm about 2/3's the way in I'm just at the start of the third city. I've got the traffic set to heavy which is great. Yeah you get some slow down just stop every now and then to reboot your device helps. The update remapped the helicopter rotation buttons which was helpful. All in all a great game. Ipod 5 iOS 7 in case anyone's interested.

So horse betting isn't fixed, it still crashes at certain points in the game (reproducible) and it still suffers from bad framerates on A7 devices. What the hell did they do all day?!?! Pathetic.

Has anybody won anything from horse betting? I tried it for about 5 minutes and gave up. Is there any trick?

I'm running it on iOS 7.0.4 and an iPod 5 as well, and though it runs generally well, I find that after a short while, the framerate generally begins to dip and sputter, and remains to do so consistently from then on. Are there any specific measures you're taking that improve your iPod's performance? I usually keep wifi off while I'm playing San An, and I also switched off Background App Refresh and Location Services, and have 3.4 gb available. I also close out of all background apps, run an app memory re-allocation via a "Battery Saver" app, and restart my iPod.
I just want to know if there's something I'm missing that could potentially boost performance as far as running SA goes
It's an absolute blast when it's not choppy and smothered in lag, haha

(I also haven't updated to the newest version of SA, 1.01, waiting for some more reviews first)

Too bad this update does not fix the serious issues :-(

That said, the game runs fine on my iPad Air 128GB Wifi model, I've not experienced any serious frame rate issues. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but I think the graphics look nicer on the Air after the update???

Anyway, it's an awesome game I just hope they fix the major issues soon.

I was hesitant to install this on my new Air after hearing all the issues with A7. It ran fine on my iPhone 5 so I had that as a backup but I've had 0 issues with the game (FPS wise, not having all that much fun with the game itself) on the Air. Just wondering why this seems to be such an issue with people as I've not had one serious slow down.

I do have my traffic set to "classic" but that's just a recent change because of a super annoying mission (one of many).

I just tried the updated version with my Moga controller and noticed no changes in the mapping whatsoever. Maybe they just mean the Logitech one?

I don't know if this was already addressed in here, sorry if it was. Did they adjust the HP of body armor?

Sorry, but the controls are just broken. I would love to see one of the Devs play the mission where OG Loc is on the back of your bike with the analog controls. I have been very patient but I am fighting that glitchy stick too much to have fun. It could be fixed, they muddied up the input code on the left part of the screen and half my motions are ignored or treated as a view swipe. I really hope they tweak this because as is I consider the game unplayable. What a shame.
