+1. I hope they improved performance on A7. I'm 20 hours into the game but I put it on ice until they improve performance on the 5S.

 

I did not play yet asw ell but I hope they updated that finally !

 

Updated.. And trying to start the mission Sweet's Girl STILL crashes!
I'm on an iPhone 5 iOS 6, jailbroken. Legitimately purchased game, before someone asks, because "all jailbreakers are thieves" as the annoying stereotype goes.

I'm starting to wonder if it is the save itself. Somehow minorly corrupted? It loads, everything else seems fine. But every single time, Sweet's Girl crashes. Right after walking into the mission spot and the lower right corner shows the mission name starting.. Blam, back onto the springboard. Ugh.

 

iPhone 5S still overheating they did not FIX THAT !!!

Do you play it on a A7 device? Is it still lagging after the latest update?

 

Pre-Update it surely wasn't optimised, no way.
But they were still people which claimed it runs smooth on their A7 device, even for the reviewer in the TA article. So I rly don't know what's going on at all. Fact is, i even reset my miniR to no avail.
Runs smooth as butter on my iPhone 5.

I'm still waiting for a comment about the new update and framerate

 

Well I've done the normal GTA framerate test (going to the crossroads outside the hospital and gunning evryone down till enough mayhem ensues). After this non-scientific test I can't tell any difference. It still lags when lots is happening. I may try to delete and reinstall or starting a new save to see if that makes any difference. I'm not hopeful though. Just clutching at straws really.

Best way find Broadway is driving around Cesar place. Not necessarily all the races only those who relate to the storyline.

 

Is the new update more optimised for A7 chips? I can't try l, becz I have no storage.

 

Hey guys I know a way to run this playable but not completely smooth on iphone 4. There will only be a slight lag that isn't annoying. You need to disable location services, turn off background app refresh, ( turning off wifi is optional) , force close apps that are still running, and keep at least 1 gig of space open.

 

Still haven't fixed pier 69...I'm mad.

 

What does the new controller mappings do??

 

Pretty sad when GTA CTW is the best GTA available for iOS. But then again it was made specifically for mobile devices.

 

Does anyone know how much bandwidth/data/internet the update uses? As I have very limited data a month, I need to use it quite sparingly.
