I'm having trouble with the analogue stick. When I touch the screen it doesn't register my touch immediately. The stick sometimes appears and sometimes doesn't appear. Running from the police or something like that and I'm dead meat. Shooting causes frame rate problems on ipad 4. Graphics are ok but there are quite a few issues that make the game very frustrating.
How does this look and play on iPhone? I don't have an iPad so I'm curious if it's worth getting when I already have the Steam version. I'd be all for a portable version, but not if the controls are bad.
It plays great on my iPhone 5. The controls work fine. Although they take some getting used to like any iOS game. Definitely worth it and in my opinion it's better than the PC one.
Tomorrow i buy The MOGA ACE POWER,i'm sure that in GAME like this change a lot,same for FPS,but for The others,i think i play with touch..hope it worth 99..
Well, if that's all then I'm happy. I just hate doing the Offroad racing, since I'm always flipping my car and having to start all over again.
ok so ill give it another go but still the same result. the framerate on iPad mini retina is just ridiculous, almost below 30fps all the time. really annoying especially when you are on the chase mission. i think ill just stop playing for now until RS fix it. when you are inside a building or the save house, fps is butter smooth. ps. i think retina res is not necessary here, perhaps they can lower it down a bit to 1920x1080(w/o sacrificing the effect)? just like fishlab did with galaxy on fire.
So I bought this at launch and played a little on my iPhone 5 but decided to hold off until I get my iPad Air tomorrow. I'm just curious as to if there is anyone out there with an A7 device that is NOT having framerate issues. It looks and plays amazing on my iPhone so I wanted to know if I'd just be better off playing only on that until Rockstar (hopefully) releases a patch. While I'm asking about it, anyone know if there's been an official comment from the devs about the issue?
I already gave it a hundred go's to no avail. The only response i got from War Drum Studios was a "no doubt! looking into it" after i emailed them the issues many users have with A7 devices. Rockstars support just plain sucked at this.
Thanks for the input, guys. Guess I'll give it a go. The icloud saves mean I don't have to fully invest in playing it on one device anyway.
flying planes (without a pilot license) idk if this has been posted yet....figured its good enough to rehash THE PLANES ARE UNLOCKED: THERE ARE 2 OF THEM. SMALL AND A LARGE JET -take a large car (like an ambulance or van) the the airport doors (the ones that tell you they cant be opened without a license -park near the guard box -jump up on the car, and from the car climb onto the box -it is easy enough to go over the wall -now jump over the next wall that you see (go up a ramp and jump) -the 2 planes are now unlocked BEWARE: WHILE YOU CAN FLY TO THE NEW CITIES, DOING SO WILL GIVE YOU A 4 STAR WANTED LEVEL AND MISSILES WILL FIRE AT YOU
