Oh great now it's crashing every time I'm trying to load the game on my touch 5g. I've done a soft reset and don't have anything running in the background. I guess I'll see if I can start over, I haven't read the whole thread, any other users getting constant crashing trying to resume a game?
Ur not the only one, my game crashes every so often. I would say like around 45 mins or so into the game it crashed
Roscoe mission Look I know I stink at this game. I'm only on the roscoe missioni. Which all I have to do - I thought - was tag two places and then get back in the car. I tag the one across the street from roscoe' stag and then go into the nearby projects and tag one place in there and then...nothing. I can't get back into the car and have no idea how many other places I need to tag to complete this mission and move on. Any help for an old time gamer but noob at this one?
Weird I deleted and reinstalled for the second time and now I'm getting far better performance on my 5S. Just posting here in case this is any use to anyone else experiencing performance issues.
Awesome port I have 12 hours in on my ipad 4g only one crash when I bought the building with zero's hobby shop... Other then that few glitches nothing to cry over. Runs fantastic and touch controls actually work very well! Would def. recommend well worth 6.99 they could easily pull 10.
Hey guys, was 'Wrong Side Of The Tracks' meant to be super difficult? I just finished it first try without any problems
Any tips for reducing the framerate drops? It's getting quite noticeable and very annoying on my iPad
Even without the amazing free roam, the great mini games, and the tons of other things to do, the game is the best GTA (On iOS of course) of all just because of the free aiming controls. It makes the game amazing. I love this game. So much. It's sooooo good. This is the only GTA where I've actually WANTED to free roam. Vice city was good, but I only wanted to do the story. This is so good. So good. So gooooooood.
Word! I'm taking and defending territory while the stacks pile up by the Grove Street crib. Taking hood rats out on dates, working out and Popping wheelies all day on the NRG-500. So much to do in this game its insane! I got far in it on my PS2 but never finished it and didn't play it in detail like I am now. Having fun.
I'm on an iPad 3 also an I have great performance! iPad mini has A5 chip, iPad 3 has A5X chip which is alil but better has 1gb of ran rather than 512mb of ram an has a higher graphical performance! Now the iPad mini 2 or (Retina) is A7 an the game run great an all A7 devices but not the best! Cause they didn't fully Optimize those device like 5S, but also if you go back an look at game like XCOM on iPad 3 run it perfect but look at it on iPad mini the game jus crashes!
Someone have audio noise? that chick chick(not only when playing, but also in The audio setting menu)iPhone 5,iOS 7.0.4
Nope. All you have to do is follow the damn train. (If you do it right you can complete this mission before the tunnel. The hard part is seeing what you're doing wrong if it doesn't work...)
Try just sticking close to his marker on the map without following him exactly. It's okay to stay on the streets, you don't have to follow him through the alleys. Don't go too fast, there isn't really much of a rush. Don't try to shoot at Freddy while you're chasing, he will get off the bike eventually. He won't run away at that point either, so approach carefully on foot.
I know HOW to do it, I just can't do it on glass I tried for like 12 times. I don't want one mission to block me from enjoying the rest of the game...
As Anandtech said, the mini retina is twice as fast as the first mini while it has to render 4x the number of pixels. It i just a problem of optimization, even if i can' t still understand why that deep defference between A6/5 chips and A7.
