I would suggest u to wait a couple of days or maybe one or two weeks before u hit the refund button. I'm sure these issues will be fixed in an update. War Drum Studios is already looking into it and i bet they are aware of this.
cosign 10000% The voice acting and story line is a gem on its own too. From MC Eiht to YoYo. Classic, Legendary Game!
Played this game for like hours and completed about a dozen mission... I in love with the gameplay and stuff <--- yeah stuff But some things have to be remembered before buying and installing the game 1.Always have 2.5GB as the game needs that 2.Make sure there is no running app 3.Always and quickly save when doing something (missions, changing clothes, getting too much money) 4.Lastly,ALWAYS HAVE FUN PLAYING THIS GAME AND ENJOY THE MUSIC THEME WHILE WAITING THE LOAD SCREEN That's all :3 I give it 4.7/5.0 rating/stars/quality #GTASA
After playing it for a bit. I think vice city has better controls. Vice city has options for First person auto aim Tap to shoot Left handed analog Also vice city has more options and space as to where you wanted to move the onscreen buttons. You can also move and resize the map, weapons, health, wanted level, money & time. Also has a home button and imo has a better map screen compared to this san andreas. The vice city main menu and general button taps for saving a game etc is more responsive than it is in san andreas. Overal san andreas play just as smoothly as III & vice city does for me on an iphone 5 but san andreas is not as smooth as those two on an ipad 3 which is understandable.
What targeting setting you have choose? Lock on or Free Aim? And would you guys recommend a Radio station that has many electronic songs? Not full of BJ's
Well, on iPhone 5 and iPad 4 running 7.1, it has no issues at all and is as smooth as butter so it's definitely optimised for iOS 7. There has been definite slowdowns on the air and 5s so it does need some more work for the A7 chip but in reality that's no surprise as its not as simple to optimise for as it has been with Apples chip upgrades in the past. The heating up and battery drain is consistent across any device I've used it on for prolonged periods of time. The game itself is very demanding on the hardware and when combined with the extra amount of front end memory that iOS 7 requires, amongst other things, it's again no real surprise that the battery does suffer. In saying all that, I think they pulled off something special by getting a game of this calibre to run on a mobile device at all. PS2 couldn't make cellular phone calls or fit in my back pocket and had a tidy ole cooling fan on it and mains power. Its nice to be free to roam while roaming around San Andreas.
Decided to give in and get the game, had enough points in my FeaturePoints account to get it and not pay $6.99 for it. Am I the only that has thinks controls are a bit unresponsive? I had no problem with driving, shooting, and doing missions in III and Vice City, but I'm having a lot of problems with SA, I can't get past a few missions, I keep getting killed because I can't control CJ. I like the checkpoint system, that saved me some time in missions. Even after a few crashes and mission failures, I love the game. Thanks Rockstar!
Would this GTA port happen to feature manual aiming for firearms? (As in, not even slightly assisted aiming, the player controlling the crosshair fully by swiping, and firing at the exact center of convergence?)
Question: I'm currently downloading this game and the circle is 1/3rd filled, at witch point does it start installing? It would be super helpful of someone can answer this.
BMX Challenge Has anyone completed the BMX Challenge? I'm finding it impossible with 100% cycling skill because, unlike in the PC or console version, I'm unable to 'charge up' the bike's jumps.
For those of you having a grand old time, please explain your control setup and how you're getting on, especially with the shooting as I am having a very hard time with it. Maybe it's harder on ipad.
I'm curious as to how people have set up their controls. The analog slider is very touchy and it feels like the game REALLY needs a separate sensitivity for every single situation: on foot, on a bike, in a car, etc, etc. I am also very curious as to what the android port will run like on various hardware. You can never predict how they will optimize for all the different GPU setups, I have a very tweaked '13 N7 and with all the various onscreen controls I may play it on there instead of my iPad 3. This port looks quite crisp but they didn't touch any of the world textures, which seems a little lazy.
