I think you are right in everything. It is a shame anyway they have to reach a compromise in terms of space, but it is a must as long as Apple keep on selling 16 GB (or 8GB) base models.
I actually prefer to Social Club if you're right. This means I can play on Android as well without manually copying save files (which didn't work for GTA3).
Uhmm.. So i had sex with a hooker (in game lol) and they're not humping like they used to on the console version haha not that it matters but it was pretty funny watching them back then, and now they're just awkwardly sitting beside each other while moaning and while the car is dancing around haha oh gta
Well i'm back and did a full restore on my rMini. It still suffers from bad framerates. In the meantime i saw several gameplay videos on YT and i have to admit i didn't saw one single gameplay without framerate issues on iPad Air/Mini, even in the US/UK versions of the game.^^ I'll play it on my super tiny iPhone 5 screen till the next Update comes out which will address this issues.
It's not eve this one... It's the one where you chase his partner from prison... I keep hitting walls or missing paths...
I actually suffer of framerate drop; with my 16 gb mini retina i can see in some circumstances, even when there arent so many things to manage for the processor (people, cars..), it starts to lag a bit.. I cannot understand why. My version is the Italian one, but I dont think it is different from the others. Do A6/A6X or even A5 owners suffer for that matter?
Well, it seems like it is kinda a lottery. Some ppl here said it's running smooth on the old iPad Mini, but if i look at the AppStore comments or some reviews i've found in the internet most of them complaining about very bad framerates and even crashes over crashes. Same for iPad 2. Also same for A7 devices. Where some ppl don't have any problem with bad franerates, other ppl suffering from bad framerates on their Air and Mini Retina. I actually can't tell if it's the truth, if they r lying or they just don't know what "smooth" means. It plays very well on my iPhone 5 (A6). Some frame drops here and there but that's it. On my iPad Mini Retina it's just worse.
Whaaat? Really - is that confirmed? Cross-platform save game? I'm debating between buying this for iPad or my Samsung S4. iPad would be nicer, but I know I'd play more on the phone. I wasn't planning on buying both versions before, but now....
I just found out by accident that you CAN crouch in this version! Just double tap the left side of the screen (where the virtual control stick is). I'm not sure if you can roll, though. Also, I went back to Vice City to test out the crouching, but it didn't work there.
Warmachine I have terrible frame rate issues when I go to the northern part of the first area of the game where there are more trees and bushes around. It is nearly unplayable. Near your first house where you begin the game the frame drops are not as bad however. I have tried deleting and re-downloading the game as well as restoring my device to factory settings all of which have not improved the situation. I have noticed that my "active memory" usage on IOS 7 is a great deal higher than on my IOS 6 devices and I have been unable to figure out how to free more RAM for the game. For example, my iPad 3's "active memory" sits at 14% to 15% and has more than 50% free when no other apps are running. My iPad Air however is always in the 35% to 45% range and has 35% free RAM or less at times with no other applications running. Hopefully Rockstar and Wardrum are aware of this issue, but I fear it may be caused by IOS 7 and out of there hands until Apple releases the 7.1 update to fix some of the latent IOS 7 issues. I use an app called "Sys Status" to check my RAM usage and I am using an iPad Air with 7.0.4
