This is so much better than Vice City! Rockstar did a nice job with this port. Very playable. This game is going to make long flights, and doctors office visits go by much faster. Love the bumped up graphics, and iCloud support. Running smooth on my iphone 5.
Unrelated to SA, but I just tried VC on my Nexus 7 with a PS3 controller and damn it's awesome. It's infinitely better than touch, can't wait for a decent iOS controller to come out that works with both iPhone and iPad.
I really gotta say, this game has not disappointed. It's a hell of a lot of fun and works great on my iPhone 5. The shooting gameplay was honestly pretty terrible in the last two so I'm glad to see it so much improved in this one.
Mine too. iOS 7.0.4. jb isn't available as of yet. W...w...what? I've to admit i'm playing the german version which is slightly censored (civilians don't drop money and i'm not able to Hit them while on the ground). GTA 3 was cut, VC uncut and sadly SA is cut again. Maybe they accidentaly cutted out some frames, too! lol Hmm, dunno which version the other guys who were also complaining about fps are playing. Maybe there is something fishy with that version. Guess i'll do a complete restore on my mini and re-download and install it again on a fresh iOS 7.0.4. I've updated OTA, maybe there went something wrong.
Am I nuts or is this version a lot easier than other ones? I just finished "drive by" and at the point where you kill all the gang members and instantly get a 2 star wanted level, I was able to drive to the car repaint place without a single cop smashing into me or even chasing me. On other versions of the game I can barely drive at all before several cops are on my tail. In this game there were none chasing me at all and when I got the paint place there was actually a cop there and I stopped my car right near it and... nothing. No one got out or tried to arrest me. It was like I had no stars, but the game clearly said I had 2. Has anyone else noticed a certain ease in this port of the game, or is it just me?

Nothing beats up ( literally ) going into crack den, ventilating the heads of crack addicts with shotgun and beating up couple of hookers there. GTA really gets the worst out of people ...
Plays smooth as silk on my 5s & retina mini ! Edit: amazing game by the way. Brings me back down memory lane. Don't see many graphical improvements but it's surely a beast.
Talking about performance, I'm not particularly happy with how it runs on my iPad Air!Performance is stellar on my iPhone 5, Pretty good on my iPad 3, iPad 1 and iPod Touch 5G and awful(but it runs...) on the good old 3GS!

I recently bought the version for the PS3 (before I knew it was coming out for the phone) and the same mission had at least SOME cops trying to catch me. But this one- zero. I hope it's not so easy that it's all done within a week.
Warried about installation size Hello everybody just a question: i have an ipad mini retina with only 16 gb on board.. Free space is my primary matter! My curiosity is that: once the game is installed, what is the size of the app? I mean the one specified in settings. Thanks for your help

Could be a glitch on your version or something. On my the mission where you had to graffiti on the Balla's territory, there is a restaurant at the back where some cars are queuing up for food and two cop cars were also on the queue (probably buying donut or something). I engaged the two Ballas standing there by throwing a couple of punches, immediately that happened, the cops at the queue noticed me and the siren went off. They attacked me with baton, I retaliated and bam!! 2 stars. The next thing I knew, cops were everywhere, on bikes, in cars, on foot. I took off, jumping over fences but they kept circling the block, following me until they ended up knocking me and Sweets off a ledge and our car exploded. mission failed. So I think cops not showing up for you has to be a glitch with your version or something. The nostalgia is overwhelming. This is Grand Theft Auto.
