Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel It`s not bad but sadly the same Bugs as in the other Builds are again present which might piss off some of those that Game the Game played on the other Plattform over the last couple of years. Besides that it`s another Grand THeft Auto Car Game so if someone likes those they will for sure enjoy playing "Liberty City Stories".
If this is at least as good as GTA3 and Vice city for ios then its a must buy and I know what ill be playing while I wait in line for Star Wars tonite.
Does anyone know how 3D touch support works for this? I'm a little fuzzy on how that would be applied.
Runs like crap. Got through the first 'mission' and it crashed. Restarted and it crashed. Restarted and it crashed. Restarted and it crashed. Senseing a theme here? #
The game is obviously good, we've all seen the 5 stars review. I'm slightly disappointed in the port, it looks a lot better and the draw distance is better, but there are still sound glitches, huge pop up and aiming still doesn't work as good as it should. Still a must buy game though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ay8535_T-M Liberty City Stories PS2 vs iOS The texture is much sharper and redraw a lots. Some of the sunlight is too red.
The ony GTA I didn't finish. Got this after I played San Andreas, but it felt like a watered down version of the franchise in each every way. At the time it was great to have a GTA game on a small screen, but once that novelty wore off I got bored quickly. On the other hand With all the broken game drama this last year it is good to see at least Rockstar caring for their games and customers, so if you cannot get enough of GTA there are worse way to spend some money.
The plays quite nicely on the 6S but for the life of me I can't figure out how 3D touch helps at all. It seems to add nothing that wasn't there already.
If more 3D Touch control updates for old Rockstars mobile game is good, e.g. GTA series and Max Payne.
Probably never. GTA IV was unoptimized as shit. Even on high PC's it ran like horseshit. Maby a very scaled down version will ever see the light on iOS.
I hope that's not the case, a high profile game like that would be gold on iOS. Regardless his port is very welcome as I found GTA III to be extremely dated, this game however improves on nearly every level & honestly the gameplay is a lot cleaner, more fun & much smoother than previous grand theft auto titles on iOS
