I'm not sure about this but if you have more than one device try setting one up as a hotspot and tethering the other to it then I believe it just sees that as wifi if that makes sense, hope that helps
I've been playing for a while now, and damn! Everythin in this game feels so high quality! At the price, heck even if it was the tripple, there is absolutely no reason to get a Gangstar game over GTA 3.
Thanks. Good performance on 4th gen devices makes you wonder if Rockstar could have made it work on 3rd gen devices afterall. Perhaps they just didn't want to spend the time remastering the assets for the lower 480x320 resolution.
uncompressed is the size on your idevice ...so the game is 400+ mb ...so i guessing 800+ Mb when its installed? and how and why are people callin the iphone4 prehistoric?...sh*t guys a motorola razor is prehistoric not the best phone of last year lol!
£2.99?! are you freaking kidding me?! £2.99?! I thought sonic CD was good at £1.49, but this? damn. I bought two consoles for this game. A PS2, and then when the xbox version launched, i sold my PS2 and bought the xbox. Think it was a double pack with vice city. I still have those games. £2.99 universal. Damn rockstar! thank you!
I have an iPhone and an iPad (with 3G) but my contract doesn't cover tethering . Just called my ISP. They are expanding their network atm and this is why errors can occure. Why are they doing this now? Arrrgggg!
Quick iPod Touch 4 impressions. Wow No need to talk about the game it's the same game we all know and love! Controls so far are pretty good, remember you can't control the camera so you have to live with it. The game has been adapted for iOS so now there are save and load menus instead of how it started up on consoles. Sound wise I had my Klipsch s4i's in and the game sounded really nice! The voice I think is muffled due to the age of the game but hearing the radio so clearly gave me a massive grin on my face. The draw distance seems low, but I can't remember what it's like on the console release. It did crash out randomly which is annoying but I think I need to reboot, I was too excited and just played it after I installed it! Definitely suggest you all buy it!
Here are my initial impressions, I'm keeping it brief because i' pretty tired. - Runs perfectly on my iPhone 4 - Good graphics, better than I expected - Controls work fine for me - Everything is very polished, presentation is good Overall, I'm very impressed. This feels like a perfect port (or at least as near perfect as possible). And extremely good value. I'd love to see Vice City and maybe even San Andreas ported to iOS. Having played GTA 3 on my iPhone, and seeing it run so smoothly, I think it should be possible. Great work Rockstar.
hmm, I don't know that you would actually need to have a tether option as long as you can create personal hotspot on either your ipad or iphone
I just can't create the hotspot. 90 a month for mobile internet and I can't even share my 3G connection with other devices...
I don't normally leave Impressions after an 30 min spell, but wow this game rocks, they really have set a high standard here. The controls are great, but if I was being negative only thing I can think of is you have to swipe Center of screen to look around, but hey that's nothing just buy this awesome game.now.. You will not regret it... Damn put this game down and goto bed I'm thinking but I just can't lol By the way I'm running this on iPad 2 not tried on my iPhone 4 yet.
Now all we need is some up-to-date gameplay footage and I'll be getting this game for sure! Probably was gonna get it anyway XD
