Looks fantastic on my iPad 2. Played a bit on my android tablet and the iPad 2 experience driving is a bit more enjoyable. Graphics look great, no crashes so far. Fantastic!
Yes it's possible!!! I used that file (gta3.set) on the app's documents folder and i got the shadows lights blood and everything on my ipod Touch 4 But the game it's like 15 fps now Before was like 25 lol but it's playable and looks amazing! I have screenshots but i'm on my ipod atm
Nevermind, downloaded an already edited file. I suggest EVERYONE to do it. Everything looks better. Zero crashes, good framerate, 960 by 480 instead of 320 by 240.. My ONLY complaint is that the game is way to hard at certain missions..
On the PS2 version I brought his car to 8-ball's shopat the beginning...on this version I got him before he got to the car...
Has anyone been successful on "Bomb da Base Act II"? With the touch controls it's virtually impossible to snipe the enemies fast enough, and 8-ball's AI is so terrible that he'll run right up to burning vehicles and commit suicide. Does anyone have any tricks for this mission on iOS? It wasn't nearly this hard using a PS2 controller back in the day.
Yes, I've already finished that mission. The "trick" to bypass touch controls is to, prior to making your first shot, find a zoom position in which you are near enough to hit your target 99% sure AND see enough of the scenery to move onto the next target. Begin killing the two guys at the ship access, then continue by cleaning the path 8-ball will follow (up onto the boat and then all to the right, basically). I needed two or three tries, but got it in the end. I also recommend buying more sniper ammo than the amount you get from 8-ball, so that you can proceed with a shooting spree without worrying about the ammo. If you try to play with zoom in/out, you won't get the mission done because the touch buttons are too slow. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip. I also just learned that there's an adrenaline pill near there that you can use to give yourself more time to take your shots. I'm going to try to combine that with your advice. This will probably be my 8th try or so. Must not give up!
where'd you find the file? I've been searching for mods but I've only found the already existing mods for GTAIII
an easy way is after you drop 8ball off drive around to the side in front of the ship there are stairs there that you can walk up to the roof you will have a perfect angle & you will be right in front of the ship so you will see everything ,also make sure you shoot the enemies in the path 8ball is headed basically start with the guys at the bottom by the trucks then the guys that are on the left side then the right
I currently wonder what Rockstar was thinking when they removed all those features from iP4. Removing it from iPT 4 is understandable as due to only 256MB of RAM instead of 512MB, but the A4 is a capable chip that CAN run A5 graphics at an acceptable frame rate.
