i dont want to search the thread.....does this work well on the ipod touch 4g or does it lag/crash like crazy?
Has anyone experienced a "no sound" issue? I'm on an iphone 4 and after lockingthe screen several times, I found the game was without sound. Closing everything and rebooting the phone didn't help either. When I pushed the volume up/down keys, it was as if the sound meter wasn't there. In the end I solved it by opening youtube. It seems that it was somehow interfering with the phone's sound. Weird bug...
I need some help on the "Farewell Chunky Lee Chong" mission you get from Joey. I haven't played the game in years but obviously it's a straight forward mission, once he gets into a car and you start chasing him but I don't know how to take him out. Somewhere along the line I managed to score 32 uzi bullets and it seems that the only weapon I can use to shoot at his car when along side him, so that doesn't do much. I've tried running him off the road and crashing into him but its always my vehicle that craps out before his. I've tried to buy ammo for the uzi but its locked so I'm kinda stumped here guys, any ideas? Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I don't remember any specific missions from GTAIII, but VERY OFTEN in GTA games you cannot damage the car you are chasing until you reach a pre-determined spot in the chase. That may be the case here. Try chasing him down until he stops somewhere.
Try the area around the Stanton Island side of the Portland-Stanton Island bridge. i know, they are not as distinctive as say the Diablo Stallion, but they're there.
Yeap.. This is the best solution. I tried a lot of times to chase him when he got the car but i didn't manage to kill him... You have to be quick to kill the three guys and after to chase him and kill him before he got the car.
I finished that mission very quickly by ignoring all the triad people and going straight to him. Just chase after him and shoot him up before he even gets in his car. That will save you a lot of time What is a fast car to beat the first racing mission? I've tried that mission so many times but I can't win first place.
here is a trick to beat the Chunky Lee Chong mission - just steal his car and rig it with a bomb from 8-Ball, then when he runs to the car he blows up. Mission over. Yes this works.
Games like GTA always make me feel guilty when your character is required to, y'know, kill cops and stuff. Does GTA III offer enough exploration and stuff to warrant a purchase if I likely will ignore the main storyline for the most part?
Alright so I know I've asked this before but the twin towers were in the beta version of the game. Then 9/11 happened and they took them out, what replaced them and where, I really would like to know. Thanks for any info.
You need to do the main missions to reach all islands but if you want you can spend all you time being an ambulance or taxi driver or a fire fighter. But being chased by cops, escape in explosions or driving a car through a overcrowded street trying not to crash is the most fun part of the game.
Apparently if GTA on iOS is anything like the one on Android, it supports PC mods. Before GTA III on my Galaxy S2 looked exactly like my iPod Touch 4G. But someone found out how to enable all the graphic settings like the Tegra 2/A5 devices. My iPod Touch 4G isn't jailbroken so I can't test to see if the file will enable full graphics on it.
The entire game is about crime and doing stuff you normally don't do in real life. If moral issues are getting in the way of enjoying the game, I'd recommend skip it. If you don't do main quests, I guess you can steal taxi cabs and ambulances and go take people around places in the city. But I can't imagine doing that alone is worth $4.99 for you. Edit: Damn, didn't see O__o's post.
