I am very grateful that it's able to run on A4 devices. It's just the game runs so smoothly on my iPhone 4, it seems like it should be able to manage a few additional minor effects like blood puddles. Not that it's very important. It's just something I miss as a GTA fan. We're not complaining (or at least I wasn't). I'm extremely pleased with Rockstar and how they have managed to port the entire game AND have it run well on A4 devices.

Theres a nice car (forget the name sorry) in a petrol looking station near the fire station that i took for the race - trick is to keep looking at the map so you know where next checkpoint is - get an early lead and dont spin just take it easy and you shoul do fine
Anyone besides me suck at driving? The arrows work better for me than the analog stick does. I can barely drive with the analog stick.
Is it just me thats pretty miffed about no icloud saves, i like playing on ipad at home but then when im travelling without my ipad itd be nice to play on my phone Tweeted Rockstar to no avail :'(
ahhh I'll try that car out. I've been trying to win with the taxi lol. I find the taxi is pretty fast with good control but maybe a better car is needed. Mafia Sentinel? Thanks I'll give that a shot too
Is "Turismo" the first mission of El Burro (the phone cabin)? If so, yeah, I won. The trick I used was grab the fast car from the car dealer near the gas station and... separate the steering buttons!!! They were too near each other for my fingers, and each time I tried to steer right I missed the button, so I just put the right button on the position where my finger went to every time. After doing that, I won the race fairly easily
Game is running great on my ipod touch 4g. Yes I don't get the details of the iphone 4s, but hey, playing gta 3 on my ipod!!! Great game, no lag, no issues.
Where is this "Turrismo" mission? I'm assuming it's a side mission in the 1st city based on the cars mentioned. I find driving with the analog fairly easy and would like to test myself with this race. Also keeping a mental note to avoid downloading "ANTIRODENT" due to random spamming.
Fully agree. I have an iphone 4 and I was very happy to know I would be able to play it. No shadows? I don't mind. No pools of blood? I don't mind either. The basic is there, it runs very smooth most of the time and it is 100 times better than any GTA clone in the app store. For me this is more than enough.
Missing iCloud saves suck! I can only play GTA on my iPad now because I don't want to start the game from the beginning again on my iPhone. Such a great game and I can't play it on all my iDevices because I can't sync the save files . PS: can't wait to "fly" the dodo but not on island 3 yet.
What IOS are you running it on? I have 4.2.1 non-jailbreak and would love to play, but GTAIII says it needs 4.3 and I don't want to upgrade to the latest IOS.
I guess I suck at driving cause there's no way I can even come close to passing the Turismo mission. Luckily I just realized it's a side mission and doesn't matter I guess, but I'm worried now I'm not gonna be able to pass the main missions that depend on precise driving cause I'm all over the road. I can't believe you guys can pass Turismo. That's crazy
I suggest downloading the app again and then retrying the install. Sounds like a corrupted app download to me and I've had something similar happen before.
Lol fly? Best could do on ps3 was glide a bit then dip lol! Yeah pretty miffed-whats point of a so called Universal app when they dont make it universally playable lol!
We're the cars always do flimsy? I feel like the slightest touch will send them floating around and they get damaged so quickly.
So... did anyone confirm whether or not cheats are possible in this one this time around? I don't use them personally, just have afew friends badgering me to find out
