Well i can pull hundred enemies in order and chaos and aoe so it turns into chaos and yet this game cant even show blood i guess?
Seriously? This is a port. The visuals are actually quite enhanced from the original. They're not going to just remake all of the models and everything.
I like the ellipsis, what is it that you're intentionally omitting? you're going to kill someone? Put your foot through your iPhone 4 and send them the bill? Cry into your pillow? Make love to another man whilst staring yourself in the eye of your ceiling mirror?
ok guys I've made a video of GTA3 in the iPad2 but I suppose more importantly I've tried running it on the iPhone 3gs to see how it runs you can skip to 3:53 in the video for this. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Need some performance increases for iPod Touch 4G (last years one not this years one) as i get some drops in FPS when playing. Also, i was impressed when i saw the render/draw distance of the game. Its acutally pretty far for an iPhone etc. game.
Starting playing yesterday on my iPad 2. I find the controls pretty klunky. For example, when driving I often find myself going straight or even the wrong direction when I'm trying to turn, because I miss the turn button I'm trying to hit. I've only tried the default controls. I should try some of the other options. There's also just so many controls. I guess after a while I might get use to it. Also noticing how much this is like GTA:CW, at least so far (which is not far at all). Albeit 3D. Not a bad thing, I was just noticing it.
Questions Hello all, I haven't bought / downloaded the game yet. I just need some help and advice. Ok, so, I have an iPhone 4 and i'm living in London, what should I do or what do I have to do to : Get Grand Theft Auto III on my iPhone WITH Retina graphics and WITH blood etc.. ? Thanks a lot !
I hope they add cloud saves - the inability to play on my iPad and pick up where I left off on my iPhone is a bit lame... other than that - awesome game!
how long will this game last? i've read so many people say about it that don't think just go ahead and buy, but still i am spending my $s carefully because so many offers will come during the last week of december, and probably nfs-the run will also be launched. my question about gta3 is that how long is the game? will the gameplay last for a long time? i haven't played gta3 before. thanks
A bit stupid answer. Why would I buy a new iPhone just for a game ? I'm sure there's other possibilities to get Retina Display AND blood. By the way, I HAVE TO GET an iPhone 4S to have blood in the game ? Weird...
Short answer: yes. You're getting ur money's worth for sure. I'm about 5 hours in and haven't passed the 1st of three cities. Not to mention the various side missions, which I've completely ignored. If length is the deciding factor, ponder no longer my friend.
It very much IS a stupid answer, but you can blame Apple for that, not the good community member who answered you. Planned obsolescence sucks hard: the blood seems to be something that only A5 devices can handle, along with other graphical bells and whistles. A4 devices still get the game, but (from the reports I've read) it doesn't look as nice and runs a bit jankier.
I'd love to know this for a fact, myself. I've read too many conflicting reports of it running well and it being a hot mess.
Runs perfect for me after closing all apps and freeing RAM. However, the pause menu has a bit of a crash tendency if u try to pause the game while driving fast, basically while the game is loading scenery. Also, I get some lag during a few cutscenes but not all. It's up to u.
You buy the same product, you pay the same $ and You get the same product as A5 users do, but the final effect looks a little bit cheaper.
Just like buying a game for pc. If you have newer hardware, you play the exact same game as a person on a netbook but since yours is newer you get to see all the bells and whistles without the lag.
