I'm having such a hard time, I've tried several time's to beat the "Trial by fire" and cannot get enough time to do it all.
They still are kings. Why? 1. Remember it was gameloft that answered the mysterious question "can mobile games be like console games?" their success is directly responsible for EA, Activision, and Rockstar jumping into the mobile market. They also brought the first ps2 ports (driver, rayman2, P.O.P) to ios in 2009. That's what gta3 is. A ps2/pc game, albiet cleaned up really nicely with retina of course. 2. Gameloft still has the best FPS experience on the iPhone (MC3). Not just the best, but it has become the standard reference point to perfect custom controls. We all wish COD zombies or any FPS implemented Gameloft's controls. Not to mention Starfront being the absolute best RTS on iOS. 3. We don't know what Gameloft has up their sleeve. Maybe an Unreal Engine N.O.V.A 3. Even though 75%of their new games are crap, they still amaze me with what they're doing, especially with Order and Chaos. 4. Gameloft used to be all quality. Now they have 5 tiers for game quality and you need to know which is which. -old games recycled to free with lame IAP. Ex: (brothers in arms) -social/Freebee games with really lame IAP. Ex: (let's golf 3) -tech demos that show off possibilities. Ex: (shadow Guardian) -licensed games. Ex: (spiderman) -Superb copycats that even the big developers can't compete with in terms of quality. This tier gets the full jalapeño in funding. Ex: (mc, nova, order and chaos series) Deadspace is exempt for comparison (only good Non-racer by EA).

$4.99 is the launch price and will most likely go up. I think Rockstar still sells China Town Wars for $9.99

I appreciate how Gameloft showed the way, but now it's time to make room for the pro (EA, Activision, Rockstar...). I am not playing gameloft games anymore except for MC3, they just feel without soul

Damn the lack of lights is actually kinda disappointing, considering how Gameloft managed to put in all of those missing details into their Gangstar games. Then again, Rockstar must've surely had a reason to not have certain features for a4 devices.
So does anyone know if there are special items for the 10th anniversary? I'd imagine there would be SOMETHING special no? Like even a golden bat or special outfit?
Great game. I bought this twice, one for my iPod Touch 4G and Galaxy S2. I'm a bit disappointed that neither doesn't have the special enhanced graphics (non A5 and non Tegra 2). But yea totally worth the $5 easily...
Why not? iOS 4.3 is a free quick and easy update through iTunes, you have nothing to loose why not run the latest software? I don't get it...
I know that one of the reasons is that many people with lower than 4.3 firmwares are jailbroken. There is no actual reason that you should be lower than 4.3, unless you have a device incompatibility, in which case, GTA3 isn't relevant to the firmware. Anyways, if you're too lazy to upgrade firmwares, then don't play GTA3. There is no reason devs should stick to supporting previous firmwares for jailbroken devices to abuse Cydia.
Hey does it work ok on your S2?? I'd not on e supported list. I don't have an Android but a know someone who was annoyed S2 wasn't listed as supported anymore. Does it work??
