Any cheats?

 

The game is very good. 2 problems only: when breaking you cant turn the wehicle simultaneusly. Also turning the camera "on foot" seems nearly impossible, its not reacting as it should (iphone4).

 

The targeting in GTAIII was always a sore spot for a lot of people, myself included.

In fact, targeting in GTA was one of the series's main sticking points with detractors and it's something that in many critics's eyes wouldn't change for the better until GTAIV (although San Andreas got it right first, IMO.)

 

Just found out that there is no blood for A4. (at least I think)

 

This game should have been goty.

 

I'd be a bit worried for the state of iOS gaming if its Game of the Year was a straightforward remake of a ten-year old game that was originally designed for another system.

 

there is blood in us version, on my ipad 2, ill check on my ipod 4g in a few hours.

 

Ah is that why it's not available here, I wondered why I couldn't get FMH but hadn't yet bothered to get it from the UK store.

Glad that trick works for the Uk store, I've done that for the US store.

 

Honestly, the autoaim sucks. I've haven't played this GTA before but not having to aim removes a lot of the fun.

 

I agree, the pinnacle of console-quality on iOS. My GoTY for sure.

 

It happened to me as well with all of the apps I just purchased/downloaded. This happened to me a couple of months ago and I reported a problem and it was fixed a couple of days later. It was fixed right after I received the receipt for the purchases, so I'm not sure if support fixed the problem or if getting the receipt fixed it.

Also, if you go to the apps page (GTA III) in iTunes, it will display the $4.99 instead of "Downloaded".

EDIT : Looks like GTA III is now in my purchased list, but the other app I purchased is still not there

There's no blood in my version kills the nostalgia for me, I'm playin on an it ouch 4g so that's prob why, also lags a lot when I'm driving around. Kind of dissapointing for a Rockstar game I have to admit.

 

Can't believe how well this has been ported for a 10 year old game it still plays sweet today. "Head & lips radio ftw"

Awesome, its running on my 3g ipod touch(32gb) , love this game

 

iOS 5 has better opengl drivers, that means smoother 3d rendering , my 3d games are a smoother on 5.0.1 but the problem is that ios 5 eats a lot of ram and it's laggy....

 

I'm using an iPod 4g 32gig with ios 5.0.1 and everything works sweet.

 

how well is it running? - I'd really like to try it on mine (3g Touch, 32gb, Jailbroken 4.3.3)

That 512mb of RAM in the iPhone 4 comes in very handy in GTA3.

Butter smooth, and I can live without the lighting effects. A full 3D console GTA on my mobile phone. Insane. 10 years ago we were controlling a line pretending to be a snake as it ate dots.
