Its only 5.34am here in England on the 14th. I still have to go to work and then sleep before i can get it and even then i have to wait for 2 days before i get any time off for a proper play session.
I'm preparing myself for big release. I don't know what to delete because i only have 800 mb left on my 16gb iP4. My canditates for deleting are: -batman (little boring) -dead space (finished) -bards tale (makes me sick of no retina support but it was expensive)
Delete Batman after you've played it through once or twice (3 hours for two playthroughs, if even). No point in keeping Dead Space since you can earn everything back really fast. I deleted it even though I got the machine gun thing. You should keep The Bard's Tale until you're finished it though. Definitely one of the best RPGs/adventure games on the iOS.
You can't advertise or public buy the original GTA 3 here. We have some very strict (and often very annoying) laws against violence in games. So we have a special version of GTA 3, Half-Life, etc. in Germany for example. There is no Doom or Wolfenstein or CoD in the German App Store. I hope there will be GTA! Edit: If I want to play uncut games I have to import them from uk and if I want some uncut games in german language I have to import them from austria. Edit 2: In "german GTA 3" is no blood and you don't get money if you kill people for example.
Oh so you can't even get a deswastika'd version in Germany? I know the newer Wolfenstein ones just had a + instead so they'd be allowed. Which is what Disney do too to avoid offence Anyway, pretty happy to be getting THIS version of Liberty City. Heck, it's a 3D traditional GTA. as great as Chinatown Wars is, I don't feel as part of the city when it's looking down at an angle as with the usual 3rd person. I'm going to create a Custom Playlist with the best GTA IV/VC/SA music anyway so will enjoy the world and fun of III with the music variety of the other 3D games -- anyone else going to do the same? ... Particularly ElectroChoc and Jazz Nation. Really don't recall III's music but Double Cleff was fun to do missions/ped squashing runs to Wonder what time this will come out here in Australia. It is a little weird but I think that there's a very good reason for censoring violence in Germany. The world knows what happens when Germans get a little "boot" happy.
That's a bit racist. A few bad eggs 70 years ago doesn't mean Germans are all power crazy killers. Went to Germany recently, interesting to see how the culture has evolved.

Yeah, all that's in the past. Germans are generally very nice people, and Germany is a great country, one of my favourite in fact. It's a shame that some video games are banned or censored there, in my opinion it's completely unnecessary. Anyway, back on topic. It's kinda strange that the game isn't out in NZ yet. Perhaps it will be simultaneously released in every country tomorrow? (if that's possible).
