Ironic how it seems like every time someone from a forum takes a crack at someone's literary skills (which adds absolutely nothing to a conversation aside from a little jerk-value), they always seem to have a spelling mistake or grammatical error of their own to go along with it. I swear the word "grammar" is only spelled the way that it is to throw people off, so that people like this will have a higher probablility of embarrassing themselves when taking shots at others. ANYways, I'm looking forward to GTA 3, counting the minutes until release!!

Toucharcade has visitors from all over the world and many of them aren't native english speakers (like me for example). I wonder how good your german, finnish or french grammer is ("you" is for all the complaining people here).

For your information, GTA III will only support iPhone 4 and 4S. Not the 3GS, which makes all the discussion about downgrade and bad pixeling etc. irrelevant.
The performance difference between the iPhone 4S vs iPhone 4 is greater than the iPhone 4 vs the iPhone 3GS so it isn't hard to imagine a graphical difference between the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 in GTA III in things like texture quality, draw distance, pedestrian/vehicle density, etc. And while it's expected in modern releases, we can't yet guarantee that GTA III on the iPhone 4 will be Retina. Certainly, dropping to 480x320 on the iPhone 4 would be one way to bridge the performance difference. It would certainly be the lesser evil than extreme pop-in when driving a Banshee or empty streets. We'll see soon enough.

Well I have total faith that GTA3 will be great on all compatible devices as after all this is one of the greatest dev's of all time (Rockstar) we are talking about and they have never let me down before.

Was the PC version the best one? Also were the ps2/xbox/pc versions really that populated with peds in the first place? I'm just remembering someone saying they didn't want empty streets like Gangstar:Rio and neither do I.
