The game is really polished with voice over cut screen story-telling but it's destroyed by the loading screens again and again. Every screen need to load and its frustrating. It became unbearable after 30mins for me. CoreyFox Well-Known Member Jul 4, 2015 140 0 0 #3 CoreyFox, Sep 2, 2015 Trying it right now.. cool art.. story line with voice overs.. polish.. we'll see.. One day... bolony Well-Known Member Mar 20, 2014 48 0 0 #5 bolony, Sep 2, 2015 I like the game but it's broken for me. Boss uses a skill? Crash. Not on WiFi? Hangs. aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #6 aconfusedkender, Sep 2, 2015 Yup! Until then I'll stick to my PS Vita and 3DS... Despite what phone-centric gamers here may do, there are still many people who use the two for vastly different reasons. Outside of the performance issues, could anyone offer a comparison to other apps for reference? kenken11 Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2012 1,808 5 38 #11 kenken11, Sep 2, 2015 Don't bother to download this game. Every single screen need additional loading screen. Initially I thought it was a one time content loading screen but after 30mins, u realize the loading and loading is forever there. Let say u play this game for 1hrs, 20mins is abt loading. LOL Monztamash Member Sep 12, 2014 23 0 0 #12 Monztamash, Sep 2, 2015 Well every single asset gets downloaded per stage, instead of a massive download at start. Not saying it's better, but at least it makes rerolling easier since download is short. Oddly, it DOESN'T follow the standard "more gems for larger purchases" rule that all these games seem to (I always check the ratio because I'm a number cruncher, even if I have no intention to buy any). It's 120 Gems per $1 regardless of whether you spend one dollar or fifty. Florophase Member Jul 20, 2012 9 0 0 #16 Florophase, Sep 3, 2015 I actually really like the game. I don't hold FTP against it inherently since I enjoy several other FTP games in a casual manner. The art and music in this game are great. As for the loading screens, they aren't really any longer than many other games, it's just that the download numbers draw more attention to it. I've spent just as much time watching a spinning loading icon on plenty of other games that weren't this attractive. I like the sphere aspect as it adds another little layer of strategy that can make weaker cards more useful. Will have to play longer to see how punitive the paywall is but so far I'm having fun with it. kopicha Well-Known Member Feb 21, 2015 716 25 28 IT #17 kopicha, Sep 3, 2015 I think those 2 are completely of 2 different democratic. You have more premium games that stick closer to actual console style on 3DS / Vita with less freemium while you get a tons of freemium with less premium on mobile with majority of the games regardless premium or freemium being a more casual style of games. So usually "gamers" who game on those either platforms usually seek for / have different needs in their entertainment needs. With that said they are of 2 completely different market and definite can co-exist. Remember most PC / console gamers might play certain mobile games while majority of mobile gamers usually do not game on other platforms. So even the "gamers" alone are most of 2 different world. When there is such market needs / demand. They will be there to stay be it you like it or not. Just to be clear I am not trying to side freemium games but just trying to talk some sense. I personally always prefer premium over freemium thou I do play certain freemium games that are cool with their monetization. And I am more towards a console gamer rather than mobile person too.
