Then you "know" incorrectly. Game Dev Story received update 1.1 implementing Game Center on April 21, 2011.
Tips: 1. To get most parts and vehicles, you need to upgrade the lower versions of the part to 80% and most cars to 55%. Other parts and vehicles, you can't get through sponsorship maxing the ad effect requirement. Special ones need you beat certain races. 2. Plan ahead on what car and part you will carry over after your next playthrough. IMHO you cannot really grasp the game if you dont playthrough it a couple of times. Arguably the best ones to carry over are the Banana Car/Duck Car and the SuperCharger. You can only carry over items from the game until March of the 14 year of your previous playthrough, any additional stat after that does not count. Optional: Upgrade the part and vehicle only when you have golden aura to get the max stats available. 3. There are different types of aura's (Blue, Purple, White, Golden). Use each accordingly. The Gold usually for upgrades on carry over parts. White for upgrades on other parts. Blue and Purple can be used for whichever use you like. 4. Driver's with higher fees usually have potentially have greater max stats (when trained). But the car's stats are usually more valuable. It will take time to train your drivers so you could go and stay with your current ones and if you feel adventurous you can go ahead and get the driver's with higher fees. 5. Always be ready to have a car suited for off road and icy terrains when moving up the Grand Prix races. You will have 6 cars total so 2 for on road, 2 for off road, 2 for icy roads. Having good tires and body type are the key to doing well in each of the terrain.
Anyone has a guide how to get good cars etc and earn research points quick etc cuz its just hard to get it
I'm using FF for Icy and Off-Road, only because FR and MR both have negative impacts on Icy and Off-Road. I don't always win the Off-Road and Icy events in the Formula Grand Prix, but definitely enough to win the Circuit with #1's in the other 4 races. And the Proto is good enough to win Russia.
Just beat the game for the third time.. yes, carry over is key. Initially i thought about carrying over the mach car and v12 engine.. but no, it didn't turn out well. Has anyone actually beaten the Kairo course? and Has anyone actually built a masterpiece mach? If you guys have any questions, post it here. I'm willing to answer with what i know after spending the past 3 days on this game ><
You will start piling up research points after you acquire the second driver. From there on the trick is plan your schedule right, and try to race as much as possible. You gain plenty of research points not only from racing but from repairing.
I'm about to finish my first run but I'm not sure what to carry over. And btw, how come carrying over a v12 engine turned out to be bad? Cheers.
Because initially, you won't even be able to afford to put it in a car, and for some time after you can afford it, your team won't be skilled enough to get it to work as well as a lesser engine. So all in all, taking something like that will give you a bit of a boost as you finally reach the point you've got the money and the team to exploit, but it's a fairly short term boost (I did it with the V10, so the V12 would have been an even bigger mistake than I experienced). Something with a more general, earlier game utility is likely to be of more use (loving brought the banana car over in my 3rd play through).
Okay!ty i got one more question, How i get a good mechanic team cuz mine cant even make a super car they wil will make it always under specs and they are all lvl 5
