I’ve purchased full game but i didn’t got the boards and the different type of skis included in the purchase. Do you know why? Maybe I have to unlock them later in the game even if I got them buying the game? Thanks! macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #9 macplash, Jan 22, 2020 Dunno about battery, but on max settings my iPad gets so hot I could make scrambled eggs on it if I wanted to. The good thing is I don’t feel it during the gameplay because it’s getting hot in upper center of the screen. The bad thing is it shouldn’t get that hot as it may cause some issues I guess. Anyway, what solves it is decreasing the resolution to Normal instead of High for me. I can still keep quality settings on High and framerate on 60fps and the device is significantly less hot than before. I guess it’s a small price to pay to keep the device safe, just in case. This game reminds me of Steep I’ve spent a ton of time on XBox. The event selection process is the same. Unlocking hidden paths and secrets just by cruising around is the same. And that’s great! I’m only about to see how big the game is and what kind of difficulty challenge it has to offer, but it’s fairly obvious from the very first ride it’s already worth to purchase a full game unlock. Happy skiing and snowboarding to y’all. sakara214ever and solarnya like this. sakara214ever Well-Known Member May 10, 2012 1,262 168 63 #10 sakara214ever, Jan 22, 2020 Same happens to me on iPad but not on iPhone. Responsive, intuitive. You can reverse left/right if it feels weird for you (camera’s going backwards, hence some people prefer to switch controls, so when you tap right, your characters goes “his” right which is in reality “your” left - by default) Also performing tricks and advanced moves and whatnot is very smooth. The first mountain is free, so if you have worries or you’re undecided if the game’s worth to purchase, try it for yourself. Spoiler alert: it’s a no-brainer. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #15 macplash, Jan 22, 2020 Curiouser and curiouser! But it has to have something to do with the resolution as decreasing it from High to Normal fixes the overheating issue completely while maintaining stable 60 fps performance with high quality settings enabled. Although I’m wondering what the difference between all 3 resolutions is exactly. By the naked eye I see no difference (between Normal and High). The game’s crispy clear and sharp either way. sakara214ever likes this. Stag Well-Known Member Nov 18, 2017 316 64 28 #16 Stag, Jan 22, 2020 Ok. It’s on a small mountain on the very first map next to one of the events. It’s this box connected to a balloon, see attached picture below. After that you’ll be able to choose it from your inventory (the icon next to a map). Happy snowboarding.
