So, I guess I am not too much of a fan of GT series - I was looking at my open orders on Amazon and noted that I pre-ordered GT on Sept 14, 2009....

    Hmmmm.....

Got my Logitech GT wheel ready to go, and looking forward to some serious racing action over Thanksgiving and the holidays...

    Ahem... excuse the caps...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS! OHHHH BOY OH BOY OH BOY. I've been glued to the GTP forums for about 3 days now, can't freakin' wait. Is it the G25 you've got? Logitech brought out the G27 and now I can't find a 25 anywhere except eBay and they're still ridiculously expensive. Might have to give in and go for the DFGT.

No I just have the driving force GT, but it works very well. I could not justify the G25 / G27 unless I was going to buy the whole seat thingy too, and $500 just seemed sort of pricy.

Glad to see at least one other racing buff out here.

Ah, well I play at my desk so it's almost like a mini dashboard already. I'd heard the G25 was at a decent price now but everywhere is sold out so... that's not true.

The G25 and 27 seem to have gone up in price - I don't really remember the differences between them, but considered getting one of them last year, when I broke down and got the Driving Force wheel. They were about $250 or maybe $280, but are now up around $350 - 400.... When I was a kid, I could buy a reasonably good used car for that amount...
