Hope there's no problems with graal on iOS4. Deciding to upgrade (and I do have a iPod compatible with folders and multitasking.
If anyone says about graal closing in graal city lag, that happens to me all the time on 3.1.3

ROFL, me being me stupid self I was doing the account transfer email on my ipod while the update was downloading. at 11 seconds left i sent it ROFL

Wow I opened graal to make my new account file so they can transfer it and I ran into a GP IN THE STARTING ROOM ROFL. I explained to him that i have to transfer my udid to my new device

Question: "wats the max number of players the server could hold before crashing?" just wondering

 

I dunno. The actual server can handle a lot. But all the iPods can't handle the playercount.

 

No problems on iso4 thingy its great, no lag outs so far and much faster and easier internet and storage....if u dont get this whats wrong with you! Lol

 

unfourtunately, I can't update to ios4 cause my iPod takes to long to back up.. 5 gigabytes takes like a hr. anyone know how to get around the forced backup?
ugh and it's taking forever for my account to be transferred to my new device

 

I think u go into prefreneces and uncheck auto back up that's what i did

Start it before you go to sleep or something.

 

if youre doing it with the actual update, dont. download the ios4 onto itunes, which makes it the new factory settings, back up your ipod normally, then restore your ipod to the new ios4 factory settings, then restore your last back up you just did. lots quicker

I found a way around it. It was just like how pimp described, but what I did was deleted everything on my ipod, and then ill just load it up again after it's updated.

Thank god iTunes exists for these things XD

EDIT: Yay, it's going much faster. But it's still slow. But bearable.

EDIT 2: I'm updated, but now every app I own closes out after the first screen they show when they start up. Great. D:<

EDIT 3: Did a hard reset and now I'm fine.

 

the server can hold about 10000 i think, but like nursie said the iphone couldnt. i think the reason for all the server updates to reduce lag is the rising player count. soon we'll be at a 2000 player count

 

does anyone have an idea of when my account transfer will go though? I've emailed the three emails Healy gave me with my Udid codes for both of my iPods. and my email adress registered with my old iPod.
