How is "hooking" your device to a computer going to let you hack "like you used to do"? You still won't be able to edit memory in real-time, only edit the game files like you can do directly on your device with the right applications. And to the "old school" part; the oldest method of allowing something that the developer did not intend you to is simple file modifications, not memory editing. Anyways, storing the gmap file server side shouldn't really be a problem for Eurocenter as far as I am conserned, but it would increase the data sent by a lot and result in increased lag.
I'm on my way so my bday was sunday to those who dont know and soz i wasnt at my own party i was telling ppl about my mom took my ipod away. (yes even on my birthday). so now im typing this from my new acer laptop with a 320 gb hard drive, 4 gb of ram and an i3 processer (sexy i know) so now im able to start making shields, rejailbreak my ipod when os 4.0 comes out so i can take screenshots again or i might completly restore cuz i dont use cydia and all that much...only really have it for winterboard. so when i can take screenshots ima start making vids music video sort of thing that newyorkernick/nicole is doing and ive already started bbrainstorming ways to do yah trick yah by soulja boy with me as soulja boy and pav as arab (souljas rapper friend who asists him in the song) if he agrees to do it and ill have random friends be the ppl bugging us or maybe even admin stalkers again if pav agrees, but still i gotta back up all my files onto the comp before i can restore... anyway all my shields(and i have a buncha ideas) and vids are also sort of an attempt to woo azrael to hopefully become a gp. ive been getting to far apart from pav with his new gpnes and hopefully this would bring us closer plus i hear that ibears going for it to so ima just cross my fingers lol. so ima resqedual my party for next weekend. i hope to see some of u there. and i might be getting my ipod back on weekdays if i get a b in french.
Shields/swords haven't been uploaded because I was on vacation for 5 days and I've been busy with school the rest of the previous week. I'm back though and I have a TON of catching up to do so don't expect things to be uploaded right away because I'm back.
instead of one person uploading shields/swords there should be two people uploading shields. The process would be faster and people would be happier when they see their shield and/or sword uploaded. Plus it would lighten the load off of one person.
A. im not going to tell you how or exactly what i did, the things you can do with a computer are unlimited B. The old school part was a figure of speech intended to be compared with the newer method of iFile, Every on is always so critical here now >.> i remember when it was like just the ten of us older members on this forum, it was a lot nicer ^.^
fuzzy introduced me way back when when i was a new member to D00M still maybe in the 20's of hours lol. now fuzzy, and D00M are gone even though floopers attemting resurection i dought hell do it since hes not on alot.
