I just got a mac myself I just imported about 1.5gb of photos into iPhoto, and it created a 1.7gb iPhoto library file. Does the library contain a copy of all the photos or something? my iTunes library certainly isn't 16gb
Right you are. WalMart is actually having a really good special on Compaq PCs. You can get one for $230, and I think it even has XP on it. Then, go get some games.
How exactly isn't it working? Not loadig? Not recognizing files? Not encoding? Converted but doesn't play? What settings did you use?
The iPhoto library file is a package file containing all the data and photos of your library. I believe it helps track all changes made to photos and sorts by year etc, while allowing you funky filters such as Events, Faces and Places. If you want to see exactly were the specific photo file is: a) in iPhoto, right click the photo to see original file location b) in Finder, right click the iPhoto library package file and select view contents or something like that. You can then drill down into the folder structure. Tbh, I love it butmy wife is having a hard time accepting anything other than windows style archaic structure. I think it helps to see the iPhoto ideology tutorials in iPhoto help menu option to get a better grasp on this concept. Pity my wife won't sit still long enough to watch them, but she's starting to adapt well
I have a new site running now www.TwistedMac.com Posting as many FREE mac apps as possible on the site. More daily and if you have a suggestion let me know
Whoever made the comment that said "Now you return your Mac and buy a better PC" is exactly what I was going to say hahahahaah I want a MacBook Pro so bad, but then I remember that it's not windows. rofl I just havn't found a good justification to use Mac computers, especially as a gamer.
Every time I connect my iPod to my computer iPhoto opens up, which is annoying. Is there any way to stop that? I don't see any option like the one in iTunes to stop it from opening.
