After what seemed to be an endless cycle of additional polish, beta testing, bug fixes, rinse repeat..the app was finally submitted (again) to the AppStore for Apple's review process last week. We're very excited and can't wait to get this game into your hands!!! We're aiming for an early August release. A specific date will be announced very soon! We'll also inform the folks on our mailing list as well.
So... the game has been approved, and we're now confident enough to announce that the release date of Goop is August 2nd (next Tuesday). Thanks for being so patient folks over that last few weeks. We're very excited and nervous to see our first game living and breathing on the App Store!!!
Cool, a good game coming early next week. You should promote with websites, start with the usual suspects (Pocketgamer, TA, IGN Wireless, Appspy, Touchgen, SlideToPlay, Touchaholics, etc.
Thanks for the tips. I tried contacting a few of these such as TouchArcade (*hint hint* if you're listening TA gods hehe), but it isn't easy getting through at times. Marketing is my least favorite of this lol, but i know how necessary it is. A few of them you mentioned are new to me though...thanks!
