I downloaded Google Chrome yesterday, and I'm not sure which one I prefer. I think I like Chrome better because it looks better than Safari imo, and stuff load faster on Chrome than Safari So share your opinion on which one is better.
If you only switched because of the look, try Firefox with the addons (most notably the ad-block plus addon), but there is a theme called chromifox that it completely overhauls Firefox's appearance to look like chrome. And you can also change it to safari if I recall also. Or do almost anything with your browser, that's why I use it. Edit: And Firefox has the coolest logo, hands down.
I don't use add-ons (slowed down my browser, got tired of the updates, and it was strangely a pain to get rid of them) so Firefox really isn't that big a deal to me. Themes was cool, but not worth it. Safari's fine, but I love Chrome.
firefox has been the slowest browser for me though chrome is fast, but it's kinda buggy for me on my macbook..when I use Expose chrome always has 1 or 2 "windows" that are..nothing..and screws Expose up
I have just changed to Chrome, and so far I love it. The one thing that annoys me though, is that the tabs are right at the top of the page. Normally they are below the URL bar, but I suppose I'll get used to it.
If Safari is as buggy and crappy as itunes, I would prefer to use Netscape I use now Chrome. It is fast and it has extensions. It is very good.
I agree with all of you on Chrome. Definitely my fave. Tried every other browser and wasn't satisfied, I likez Chrome. Some guy that works at our company, (he was in prison for doing...various things to children) thinks Opera is awesome. It's really strange.
huh. Just downloaded chrome as everyone was saying it was so fast so I did a quick test by loading pages at the same time and safari was quicker edit: no I take that back
I was quite happy with Safari for a while, but a few things annoyed me and I ended up switching back to FireFox. It was the option to save a username/password for a website login that put the final nail in the coffin, for some reason Safari thinks it's a good idea to ask if you want to save before the data gets sent. The answer for me is usually "I don't know, if you'd sent the freakin' data and let the page load, I'd know if my password was correct and then I could tell you". Firefox doesn't have this issue
Depends on the computer. If I'm on a slow computer (usually PC's), I use Google Chrome. If I'm on a Mac... Safari.
