I love you nuggest and much respect but maybe some people aren't built for the internets much more a forum. You have to take everything with a grain of salt. Everyone feels it's sort of a competition but really: The internet is like a special olympics, whoever wins.. you're both still __________
Hmm. All these "I'm going cold turkey on TA" threads need to stop. Because they're all lies Nugs logged on AGAIN today haha.
LOL, sorry to shock/let you down =P If I do leave for some reason, I won't make a thread about it, just put it in my sig.
I got a small glimpse of it back when EDNG was still around. I wasn't a regular yet, though, but I can understand why some people prefer it the way it was. It was a tighter, light-hearted, but not so "OMG this guy insulted me and this community is filled with anarchy, hate, and disrespect and I must start a thread to complain" type of place. Sadly, as more and more people get iPods and iPhones, they're gonna come here. Well, take the good in with the bad, I guess. The site gets more attention, and out of the 10 noobs we get every so often, one'll actual prove to be smart
I think it was because of his user name and how you couldn't help but shake your head when you saw it...even now.
Actually, who remembers one of the first Hodapp haters, avengedse7enfold (or something like that)? He started a whole thread declaring how much he hated hodapp. Before that, he started a bunch of idiotic threads. About 10 in half an hour (maybe more). Needless to say, he was banned immediately.
Yeah he was pretty funny too. There's a lot of those guys who come in starting craploads of threads the first day they join, all asking questions that have easily accessible answers. MikeyLax is a recent offender that comes to mind. But what put avenged7evenfold or whatever over the edge and forever in Touch Arcade history was the thread he created threatening to kill Hodapp.
