I'm looking for a good RSS reader. After searching a bit I came across "Newsstand" a couple of times. But it changes to the newspaper look when you tilt it on the side, can you turn that function off? Because I often read my RSS feeds before I go to sleep (and the phone will go landscape then). Or maybe any other app suggestions?
May I just say that newsstand is the best of the bunch by FAR!, I payed the full 4.99 for it and it's worth every single singlest penny or cent whatever currency you're using! You won't get newspaper mode when you tilt to the side, that was in the old version, they updated it and you you can view newspaper mode vertically by tapping on [Feeds] button on top of the screen. If you don't like landscape mode at all there is also an option to turn it off. You can sync with google reader and it also worked uber-perfectly for me. If you want more feeds they give you a directory with tons of categories and feeds you may be interested in. You can add your own by just putting the link to the site you want to get updates from. Mate! I'm absolutely serious about this, Newsstand is THE (read as thei) iphone ipotch rss reader!
