Hi I have been trying to search around after good music feedback forums etc for musicians. Especially "electronic" music. Just a place to post and get some feedback etc. But its pretty hard to find anything interesting. Thought I would hear over here if anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Allready have stuff up on like Tindeck, Myspace, Reverbnations etc.
Oh heh, thats sweet! But I have allready posted stuff on here, and I do not feel I get any respons really. Probably since this is not the right forum. Just thought if other people knew some alternatives. edit: But if you want to hear, here are some stuff: Some classical: http://www.tindeck.com/listen/mphw http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ucfh http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ntlm http://www.tindeck.com/listen/exfp http://www.tindeck.com/listen/miyx http://www.tindeck.com/listen/tsyn http://www.tindeck.com/listen/uvip http://www.tindeck.com/listen/dhys Some mysterious ambient: http://www.tindeck.com/listen/vwbh http://www.tindeck.com/listen/lxbw http://www.tindeck.com/listen/pipq http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ltfk Some more upbeat electronica: http://www.tindeck.com/listen/mhfj http://www.tindeck.com/listen/eqmd http://www.tindeck.com/listen/sehq http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ljbc http://www.tindeck.com/listen/xowy http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ohuv http://www.tindeck.com/listen/vfiu http://www.tindeck.com/listen/lwvn Singing: http://www.tindeck.com/listen/nomb Sounds best with some bass and headphones.
well what I heard was interesting and fun to listen to - good job!!! I really enjoyed Humpty Dumpty. You should start thinking about recording some real instruments to your mixes - it will liven up the sound quite a bit and will further diversify your recordings. Especially in your more electronica style recordings - a little bit of guitar or other instruments will really help your songs stand out.
Fantastic, some great harmonies in there and very atmospheric music. I have just made a youtube channel to post some videos of my music that I've composed on Sibelius... why not try that. Check my channel out at http://www.youtube.com/user/AranBrowning Hope that helps, I was like you and I tried MySpace and stuff but couldn't seem to get anywhere. But you seem to have a LOT of music you have composed so give it a go. Good Luck!
Ive been using Fl studio for some time now, if you want feedback thebest way to get it is to sign up to www.soundcloud.com
I've just started messing with music but Looperman is an amazing site. Extremely active with a ton of genres. http://www.looperman.com/
It has its place just like anything - personally I really get off when live music is combined with some of the electronic instruments (Peter Gabriel - or Radiohead are good examples). Thing is you still need the live music to make it truly unique - a personally recorded sound will always have more feel and difference than something synthesized or sequence by a computer. As a multi-instrumentalist (Bass, Guitar, Vocal, Keyboard, midi sequencing, engineering - and percussion) who spent 11 years learning how to play live and in real time I find that using electronic instruments to my advantage is justified (mostly because I still record the keyboard parts live and edit the notes afterwards if needed).
I can to some degree agree. Repetitive boring ass mainstream house/techno/daft punk D) etc is what I hate about modern electronic music. I am more into creative artists like Richard D James, Jean Michel Jarre, Boards of Canada etc. Anyway, to bump this thread a little. Here is some new songs I have made: http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Aorta.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Eremite.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Cordial%20Drink.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Klink.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Paybill.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Grillning.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Cellar%20Door.mp3 http://inkincdesign.org/madtorsk/Torsktunga%20-%20Calm%20Night.mp3 Very mixed styles. From classical to electronica. Any comments would be nice! Thanks for listening!
