Hello, i am going to begin development soon on an iphone game yet i do not have any ideas. If any of you would kindly like to share them (or preferably pm them to me) I will gladly reward you with a promo code of said game and possibly a cash prize depending on how much money the game makes.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, i didnt really know where to put it.

Ok i totally forgot to add that because this is my first game, i am looking for something simple and fun along the lines of scoops or alphabetic.

    Rapture. It sucks.
Make Interactive Buddy. I know a lot of people who would buy that.

I've been waiting for Flower[video] to come out on the PS3 for a while (it drops in February) I think iDevices are perfect for this type of games as well. Recently Blue Attack! had some similarities with flOw. There is a lot of apps that provide sound to relax, but no games really that along with peaceful sound would also provide a bit of innovative gameplay. Hopefully someone out there can make this happen for me, us, anyone. :)

See i would love to do something like this, but i dont know about the copyrights and patents and whatnot, so i would rather not go that route and have an original idea.

If this is your first time developing, try something very simple first. I just finished playing another round of a game called "Starfall". The game simply has "stars" of different colors falling and you must touch only the black and white ones before they hit the bottom of the screen. The graphics look like something kicked up in Illustrator pretty easily, and the game is plain simple. But it's fun.

Now, I'm not saying you should rip that game or the plethora of match 3 games out there (I suspect that so many are out there because they're simpler to develop than other types of games). But good rule of thumb for first time development (and first time anything for that matter) is this: keep it simple, stupid (KISS). Don't bog yourself down too much. Just keep it simple, learn the ropes, and understand that the first time out is just to get some experience on the platform under your belt. Once you do that you can move on to more complicated ideas.

Make a game similar to Drawn to Life. People can make stuff, and see it in their game (how cool would it be to have a fully customizable TD) Well, maybe that's too difficult.
