None that Windows or Linux shiz, plz. lulz.

Anyway I'm looking for a simple little photoshop-like-art-like program for mac. I'm more interested in Freeware but Shareware is fine.

Photoshop isn't really an art program per se, it's more about photomanipulation (i.e. editing existing images, but I guess it's a form of art...) although people can and do create stuff from scratch.

But for actual old school artwork I've always been kinda partial to ArtRage. No idea how much it costs these days.

I know of none, as is made obvious by my crudely edited pictures you see me randomly posting.

Then you are looking for Pixelmator.
If you wanna go free, Gimp.
Otherwise you might give a look to GraphicConverter, that despite its own name also has some editing functions. It's also essentially free if you don't care about the splash screen which asks you to register for some seconds. The main drawback is the very outdated interface.

Yeah I use Pixelmator on my Mac, it's pretty good but there are lots of jobs I can't do quite as well as I could with Photoshop, despite them being similar. Probably the closest thing though.
