Looks to me like the game is gone? It's coming to consoles soon so I'm wondering if the are making a new version for mobile or if they just decided they don't care anymore about mobile customers now that it's releasing on other platforms.
It’s in my previously purchased list on the App Store, but wasn’t able to find it at first. Use the word wasteland to search for the game. Golf, club, or golfclub do not work. How would porting a great game to other platforms demonstrate a lack of interest of mobile customers? Numerous games are ported from console to iOS as well. Hopefully, they will create a sequel. Definitely a game worth double dipping for.
Yeah, i saw it in my purchased list but I meant that its gone from the store. In fact the developers entire page is gone from both the app store and Google Play store. That means that they pulled both around the same time which to me seems intentional. Maybe the developer is embarrassed that his game was on mobile before consoles and PC? Why else would they remove it? If anything, a console and pc release would make the game even more popular on mobile and get even more downloads. You got a theory on why they pulled this from mobile literally weeks before the console and PC release? Cause like I said, it's either that or they are remaking the game for mobile.
As far as I can tell, the developer is pretending that the mobile version never existed. And I get it: there are many, many console and PC gamers who would instantly pass on something that had the whiff of a “mobile port,” and much of the standard gaming media would probably ignore it. Of course, it’s also a bit of an FU to the folks who supported the game in its original platform. But what are you going to do? You’d think that things would be getting better, what with all the mobile ports on Switch and Apple Arcade games releasing as PlayStation console exclusives. But it seems that this developer is not taking any chances.
It sucks that this game is no longer available (though strangely it still seems to be on Android). They just announced their new game that takes place in this same universe, and not only does it look awesome but it looks like it would work perfectly well on mobile: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Looks rather excellent. Described as The Jungle Book meets Armageddon lol. Will be my first Steam Deck game if I live long enough to see it delivered.
