My bro is bringing a usb charger however i dont see how thats going to work since my ipad wont charge on my pc, or do these work and if not what do i need to buy ?

Yeah why would you even want your ipad in a place where it could get damaged by the elements. Forget the ipad and enjoy camping.
Realisticly for full time power you would need something quite big I think I'd go for a solar gorilla with a mini gorilla combo but I'm sure there are probably cheaper solar briefcases. Or you could just get a big battery pack on it's own like the power gorilla. I know everything I've mentioned is by the same company powertraveller unfortunately being in the UK their about the only reliable option I know but it wouldn't suprise me if you could get better options cheaper elsewhere.
