I got that skill too, am at level 5 in fact. Only upside is the super fast travelling speed? My hero just tried to change to a lower guild. Luckily guild quests take so much time I was able to intercept. After some shouting my hero most reluctantly dropped his quest. Phew.
My hero thankfully hasn't tried to change guilds yet -- but then "slaves to armok" (all lower case) isn't exactly topping the unity charts... Also had my 6th death yesterday. That sucked. On a good note though he has all +20 to +22 gear, which is cool.
While I was asleep. my +20 weapon was replaced with a different +19 weapon. I didnt die. No idea why that happened.

I met him yesterday as well. Also, in PvP: "Unconventionally applying “seasickness” skill, Number 5 manages to tear off a piece of the enemy's health bar and stick it to his own." Muahahaha.
My hero is switching guilds. I repeated the phrase in the FAQ "stop your quest" 8 times, no effect, so i figured I may as well heal my hero, which I tried twice, no effect. 0 Godpower, nothing done.
Yes, Spunt has been rather busy lately ... dying! #7 came last night. (I'm coming for you, Shiz!) I was at the computer at the time so caught it within 3 minutes. Been having bad luck with encouragements myself. Had a run of 7 non-starters the other day, 3 last night, 2 this morning. I did get one of my ideas accepted by the powers that be though! A portable tunnel (artifact).
Uh oh, only two away! Did any of your armor get degraded? Since you resurrected him so quickly I don't think there would be time for any to rust. I too got an idea accepted. It was a monster named "Godvilla". It got accepted like 2 days after I submitted it and with only a 16-14 vote count. My 25-4 equipment still isn't in =/
Out of curiousity, how long did it take to get accepted? ie, When did it pass the voting and when did the Admins implement it? It just says could be a long time but didn't define what "long" meant .
I'm on 6 deaths - the last happened a couple of hours ago and within 5 minutes two of my pieces of armour had degraded! They were the overpowered items, so maybe that's how they nerf your kit (and explains a bit why the top players don't have that good stuff - they weren't paying enough attention to resurrect quickly). I've killed Godvilla a couple of times.
No, he wasn't dead long enough. I'm pretty sure the time frame for rusting equipment is random, but it doesn't seem that often. My dude died 6 hours before I got to him the time before this one and only lost one point off his weapon. Hey, I fought that creature. Portable tunnel got in with a 17-13 rating, so it's pretty arbitrary and entirely up to the admins what gets in it seems. I have other entries that got much higher ratings in the public vote but haven't gotten in yet. As long as more people like it than not I think they'll at least take a look and vote on it. Mine took longer than Shiz's Godvilla. About a week or so from submission to end of voting to admins finally accepting it. I have a number of others that have gotten more yes than no votes, but who knows if the mods will accept nay of 'em.
