Argh, my hero died. Lost all godpower and had to resurrect him.

 

You sure that wasn't still an in-game message? It has push notifications that will pop up an alert when an in-game message is sent. I don't believe the game has SMS capabilities. You can disable push notifications for such things in the game's settings.

 

So far we've gound:

Heal: Tells your hero to heal himself.

Pray: Tells your hero to stop and pray, which gives you God Power.

Die: Evidently gets your hero to commit suicide, so ... don't use this word.

Kick: Possibly tells your hero to kick the enemy for extra damage (not yet independently confirmed).

Some notes:

1) Your hero will not always do what you tell him to do, nor will he always understand what you said. It's pretty hit or miss.

2) "Heal" and "Pray" only work if your hero is not in a fight or otherwise engaged (i.e. at a town).

3) You can phrase any command however you like as long as the trigger word is there.

 

Resurrecting is always the funnest part, because most of the time they resurrect in a funny way.

 

Dig also works. I've tried a few others but have nothing conclusive for those.

 

I did kick, hero laughed, then in the attack window I saw he kicked the monster for 12 damage. No idea if that is more or less, doesnt seem real worth it for 5 power anyway.

 

Er, your going all technical on me. A message popped up on the main screen of my iphone "[name of ta'er's god] says, "Want a massage?"

That is a little too "real" for me. Imagine if my wife was looking at my iphone and saw that, roflmao.

 

She would rip you in two. o.o

 

Heh... yeah, I imagine that would be a little ... hard to explain.

But yes, that was a push notification. Basically it can receive and display the message when the other person sends it, just like text messages or E-Mail notifications, but for this game. You can turn it off in the settings.

 

This was worth it.

Hahaha That was me man, ROFL! It wasn't a real text, I guess it pops up as a notification.

 

I read this the second I send him an apparent note in a bottle saying he will die in seven days. Guess what just happened...

 

Worst. Timing. Ever. That does suck though, you'll lose everything but what he's wearing and all quest progress and gold and stuff, but ... at least you know not to do that again.

My hero's on Quest No. 6:

18:31 The suspicious stranger told me, that if I keep 'em on their toes, I'll get a nice reward. Probably. I have a bad feeling about this...
