My hero seems to be doing well. He's on his 10th quest, 2629 gold coins, 0 deaths and 304 monsters killed. Oh and he's just appeared in both the Might and Greed pantheons.

Nearly stepped on an unconscious hero with words imprinted on his forehead: 'I'm sorry, I am running out of power. My messages may not come through fully.' This 'game' is sooooo great! Already started the browser version, so I have something to watch in the background while working - need my phone to play The Creeps! etc. in the meantime
I asked the same thing. I am 99% sure it does absolutely nothing. Not sure why it's even an option. I wish there was some more graphics to this game though. But i honestly think the game creates sentences using the MadLib approach. So there's no real way for them to know whats currently going on in order to display it.
A TA'er who will remain nameless sent me a text asking if I -- i.e. a real text TO ME, not an in game message to my HERO -- wanted a massage. Apparently, he (logically enough) assumed that if you click on a friend, you would be sending an in game message to their hero, not a real text to their iphone, lol.
