The game was kind of fine even with the freemium resource you need to form the land... I had fun, had 2 voyages. But then... out of nowhere comes WHEAT! BAM! 200 houses later suddenly all my workers decided to go on strike unless you give them wheat... which was a previously unheard of resource, that I am now only producing 1 or 2 pcs every 6 hours!!! Nothing, built nothing made, never had I seen a freemium wall as badly thought of as this... DELETE
To those that are getting the login crash, 22 cans support gave me a "fix". First close the app completely. Turn your device's internet connection off (airplane mode) then boot up the game. There should be an error that it can't connect (there's two different error screens) so turn on your internet connection and tap "Retry". It may take a couple of tries, but you should be able to login and play. ...Unfortunately I've had to do this every time I want to play. Pretty annoying to have to fiddle with the connection settings just to play, hopefully they will fix this soon.
Wheat is honestly not that hard. Just plant loads of fields, I have about 50 now, make sure the fields are on large plots, as this will double the yield, put the shrine of capacity next to the farm to give you an extra farmer. That will give you 12 bushels per round. Later there's a card that doubles the speed of all wheat production. I get a hundred bushels every couple of hours. If you're impatient use the divine rain of purity to get wheat in a hurry. Long term though you don't need it. Wheat/ belief/ ore are not the paywalls in this game. Stickers are, IMO a paywall though.
For some reason my people are really unhappy and leaving to another tribe, despite having more than enough wheat. Is there any way I can build a casino or something? Right now all I can do basically is spend all my belief on trees and rain, which seems pointless. Getting more and more frustrated by this game the more I play. I feel more like a farmer than a god.
They sent me this fix also but it didnt work for me, i have supplied them with my crash log in the hope they can get to the route of the problem
Wheat was a problem for 1 day for me. I used all my belief to make Farming Settlements. Build the farms until all the followers are used, then rebuild houses. Then make another settlement with the old settlement + new houses which will simply add the new houses to the original settlement, increase belief, and the total number of farms for that settlement. Do this a couple times to a couple different settlements and wheat will never be an issue. Also, another tip - after losing 6 villagers to the neighboring tribe for being unhappy (and refusing to pay the money to build a fountain), I simply summoned a swamp in their tribe which makes their happiness ZERO. Now my problem is that they are showing up to live in my society as homeless people, or creating homes without any benefit.
I've just realised wheat is for increased building speed of your followers. Ok I get that now! Thanks for the farmer info too, appreciate it!
They named it wrong..... For all the people who played a game from Peter M. You know it was meant to be called. GotUs....lol......again!
Somebody beat you to that one! I get a thunderstorm every time I turn the game on, within about 5 secs. Is that significant and why doesn't it make the wheat grow? Wrong type of water I suppose!
Anyone know if I can sign in with Mobage or FB later in the game if I skipped it when I hit the Temple of Disovery? I wanna sync between my iPad and iPhone but don't want to have to start over to do it.
Close to 40 now and feel the same. Gaming probably isnt what we are used to anymore. Anyway, the game is a time waster and I really dont need one. But really, it kinda brings back memories of my youth. It is like a tedious job you get from your parents and then you pay your friends to help you finish it faster.
That really is sad and disappointing. I think I remember that in populous you could speed up and slow down time. That is literally a game changing feature. If that was implemented into Godus it would change the game in the best way possible.
