That is an urgent need to be addressed I think. It spoils the fun when you can't upgrade. Examining fee should be omitted and more gold needs to be dropped.
Not true. Oceanhorn, FTL, GTA 3- SA, Max Payne, MC, XCOM, and dozens of other original and ported games offer plenty of depth on mobile devices. It's a question of the resources behind the games, a small team placing more emphasis on graphics than gameplay is not going to create the most satisfying experience.
Maybe for the budget they had it's true,but Mobile Gaming is far ahead of ios gaming you can have a fully functioning open world of Gta San andreas on your phone,It's a good mobile game for it's price but not really a good indicator of potential of mobile gaming,though I do get what you're saying here.
Just finished the game in normal mode and now on hard mode. I think the game design is interesting because the initial play through is really for newcomers and novices and is very easy. The difficulty slowly ramps up to eventually appease the hardcore gamer. The fighting is very good but a larger variety of enemies would be nice. I don't think I've ever seen a game with graphics as good as this on ios I'm on iPad Air. I think what people were hoping for was a game with. 30+ levels. That would have been nice too maybe they can keep adding levels. And with levels maybe different enemies If they're going to add another 7 acts etc continuing the story and with different enemies and puzzles then this could be very good. On puzzles, this is not the type of game you want to spend 30 minutes figuring out how to unlock a gate. It's an action game so having to stop and spend a lot of time on puzzles is not a good idea in my view. As for gold you do need a lot of it, more than the game provides if you want to identify and upgrade every weapon and armor. Maybe less gold for identifying and more gold drops in survival mode would help. More content. Much, much more content please with more variety in enemies etc.
I think having a hammer connected to a chain to swing around would be an awesome weapon in this game. It would be more of a heavy hitting weapon and not fast like the duel swords.
That would be undoubtedly, totally, very original, since Kratos has swords connected to chains to swing around.

Another 7 Acts please. And another 7 Acts after that too!! The two main problems I identified as far as gold is concerned are 1) you can lose a lot of gold identifying a weapon that turns out to be a dud. Either make all the weapons worth the identifying price or lower the cost dramatically on identifying. Some people want to identify everything thus the complaints about not enough gold. 2) survival mode could be much more generous otherwise it's not worthwhile. 3) the length of the game. A huge problem with a game like this is it should have released with 30+ Acts not seven. And with each Act added variety and difficult of enemies etc. 4)more variety of moves, weapons and enemies. This is a unanimous request by everyone. Only one female in the game isn't enough. Ranged weapons would be very nice? Jumping is another thing to think about if it can be used well. 5) multiplayer against bosses or/and PVP? 6) puzzles. This is an action game and I assume most want to get into the action and not be stuck figuring out how to open a gate. But having puzzles does add variety so more difficulty would be nice. Like in a Tomb Raider. Of all the mistakes I think the worst was not the gameplay or the IAP or gold drops or not enough rewards in survival mode or the extra cost for premium weapons. Or even the variety of enemies and bosses although that ranks next in importance. The one over riding factor was only there being 7 Acts. If this game released with 30+ Acts it would have been much better. That can still be remedied but only 7 Acts? I finished the game in just over an hour or two. I was just beginning to enjoy it and it was curtains. I did feel, for the length of time I played that it was more a tech demo than a full blown game.it just didn't have enough content. I'll wait fir an update and hope it will be one of many more updates.
I think there's a great game underneath the whole thing,I have to admit the amount of Polish is very impressive.Animations are for me by far the best on ios bar none,The graphics are top of the line,it looks stunning on my 5s not quite Gow far from it but still better than likes of IB and Wild blood,much better than those. My few suggestion to the devs would be which I think will make. A huge difference to the game are: 1.Most important of all speed up combat,The animations look little too slow and the attacks feel sluggish and non responsive because of that.I bet it would get a LOT better for this change,please make it happen. 2.Give us virtual controls a simple analog stick and 4 button configuration whose size,position and sensitivity can be fully adjusted.It's not asking much really and would make the game far more enjoyable for everyone,ofcourse the default control scheme can be an optional. Apart from these there isn't much that needs improvement the combat does feel as if there is great weight behind it and the animations convey a great sense of momentum,which I really love about it. Please make these few necessary improvements IMO it can be easily 'the' best hack and slash on AppStore.Can't wait for your next game for which a dark soulish game on this engine would be perfect. Quite possibly the best looking game on my device:
