And because of thinking like that we have less and less good games like this, and more and more freemiums birds, candys, viles, 8 bits swarming on mobile app stores. Thats why phone gameing is dieing.
If Godfire was half the game Vivid claimed it would be, you wouldn't see anyone on TA complaining about it's price or waiting for a drop. I wish I had waited on this one.
Nah. There will always be people waiting for price drops. They just need a good excuse, like "IAP in a paid game?! Hell naw!!!1"
Ok, I overdid it there. But the point is that waiting for a price drop on certain premium games isn't always proof of someone being cheap, sometimes it's a justified decision. And with a game like Godfire (over-hyped, under-developed, and over-priced) you'll see more people then usual wait for a drop.
At some point you have to admit that wild blood was better than this, and it came out 2 years ago. They hyped this up -and while the art is beautiful - the gameplay is full and repetitive.
Geez the game is worth more than that man. I played it since the update hit and its better than before too.
Still I would much rather help the dev out now and also be able to enjoy this awesome game now than waiting on a sale for 99c that might or might not happen. Well it probably will but just saying I am so glad I picked it up when I did. I have been enjoying myself lately with it.
Looks good. But tbqh, the only reason I haven't bought it was because of the kind of consumable IAP I see in the App Store. That alone is enough to not get me to push the buy button.
You dont have to buy any iaps, i beated game multiple times without spending a dime... And for this price ther are no reasons not to buy it. I payed it full price on lounch and i never regreted.
There is weapon and armor packs those arent consumable. Plus thats just kind of dumb, missing out on a game like this because it has optional IAP? Lol wow.
Yeah the $50 pack is kind of disgusting. I'd rather spend my mine on more Radiangames titles or something else without IAP and whales designed into the gameplay.
Nah I've been burned too many times by premium games w/ freemium IAP. I just received a promo code for it, so I'll give it a go. But like nightc1 said, nowadays I just spend my money on games without consumable IAP like Radiangames, GTA:SA, Republique, Xcom, etc. I have enough of a backlog of premium games anyways, I'd just rather spend my money on games that don't support that kind of IAP. But I don't mind getting promo codes
