There's no rule against putting your YouTube/Twitter/blog in your sig.

There is a rule against making a thread about it, though.

You said it yourself in your sig, its an 'app review site' Reword it any way you like, you're just using a loophole in the rules. Let me guess, you'll review if a dev sends you a code?

No, we'll buy it, if we agree on reviewing it.

Yeah, links in sigs should be just that, a link. There's no need for the advertisment after.

it doesnt matter. if tA thought it could compete with them, they would ask to remove it. also, why is it called the 3 appmigos if there are four people who run the site?

Well when you see people's sigs such as Wundaii's, swishinj's, etc, it gets tiring.

According to the site it's just three... and KGameLover. Maybe he was late to the party.

Edit: or maybe what he said.

Haha is my link to inapropriate? No. It follows all rules. Why can't he do it. It's like linking a game chatroom in your sig :p

Ok, just carry on. Seeing as this game is from Ngmoco, this game is still probly 8-12 months in development plus 5 months of hype-gathering I wouldn't mind the mods closing this thread.

Your sig and his are completely different. Are you advertising a review site? No. Its your blog.

And really? You want to try and bring my COD link into this? I guess trying to coordinate team matches with fellow TA members is absurd eh?

Nooooooo I'm just saying if we can advertise politely our stuff, why can't they?it's not like they are an exact replica of TA. They review some differnt things. TA is like a big boy, the 3 appamigos are like unknown devs heaven. No offense. But once they get close to beig too much like TA it will be unacceptable

Because people seem incapable of advertising 'politely' I'm tired of seeing people with 'PM me a promo code and I'll review' or 'PM me to beta test' or various other sigs [i.e. Wundaii's, swishinj's, one other person I can't think of]

The no-advertising rule encompasses all websites, not just the competition. There are lots of people who think it should apply to sigs too, they should be kept as a modest link like your one is, not inflated to banner sized proportions. As derek said it's just plain obnoxious, what's the point in not allowing ads in posts if people are just going to spam them using sigs instead? Besides, KGameLover posts enough as it is, we don't want to encourage him anymore.
