No, you can buy stuff that makes waiting time less. Like buying mojo in We Rule or powercells in Eliminate.
In GodFinger, you may choose to purchase "awe." The most common uses for Awe might be converting it into gold to buy buildings, using it to refill your mana, or purchasing a buff that will keep your followers from getting exhausted. The system is more similar to We Rule than it is to Eliminate and Touch Pets. --MJ
im guessing that it does need a constant connection... thats why the question is being avoided and is not being answered.
Yeah, I didn't get anything either, oh well, this still won't keep me from downloading it anyways. Ngmoco worked really hard on both "godfinger" and "we rule" and I'm pretty sure they will still be awesome games and worth a spot on the old ipod touch.
It does require a persistent connection, they have hardly avoided the question it was answered on their twitter a while ago.
Yes, they did say that on their ng_community twitter page but many people on this forum do not have access to view that tweet. They also said it on wonderland software's twitter page too but they didn't say it was a persistent connection, specifically.
ah ha touché ahcl20 (good eye). yrrebeulb19 gets credit too thanks guys. (I was trying to prove this to the forum for some time, since page 24.)
This is why I hate "freemium" games from Ngmoco: ). This game sounds great it does, but then they throw in the whole "buy things so you can play more" and it ruins it. Also why does this game need a constant internet connection. What if I want to play at school or on break at work. I'm rarely on my iPod with an internet connection. I would like this game or entertainment app if it was not part of Ngmoco: ) freemium plan. make a version for 9.99 and let us have unlimited "awe". I would buy it more then I would buy a 9.99 "awe" in-app purchase and make it not need a internet connection
Guys, they never said it's needs a constant connection yet. Maybe just Internet for things like friends.
It's freemium. You won't have to "buy" it. If it wouldn't require constant internet, ngmoco would have said so.
Yes they have it's on their ngmoco twitter page look at @J_remiah 3:35 pm march 1st. http://twitter.com/ngmoco
