If this game needed a persistent connection then its no good for me, I like to have an option to play offline or online.
Have you guys seen the hands-on video with that really weird girl yet? SHE CREEPS ME OUT! It still looks like a wicked game though.
Yeah, she does have a creepy sinical smile doesn't she. I wonder if she is a trader and works for the skeleton people. We better keep an eye on her. When the game comes out I might add.
Hey everyone just to let you guys know ngmoco posted new videos and pictures on their home page. Everyone should check it out. http://godfinger.ngmoco.com/
If there's one good thing you can say about NGMoco games is that they have really cool art-styles. This game looks very interesting, and I'll definitely purchase it if it doesn't have that DLC bs that other games from the company have.
I don't think anyone knows. Everywhere I've seen it just says available soon. The videos about it say in a few weeks, but I don't remember when those videos were taken, I'll have to check.
Hopefully soon, this is really the only ngmoco game I've ever really looked forward to, despite the freemium model.
Which means you'll probably be nickeled and dimed out of every cent you have or you'll be stuck with a less than entertaining game. <3 you ngmoco
What an original and natural point you pose. I haven't heard from anyone who didn't like this business model. When are people going to realize ngmoco is no longer targeting the touch arcade audience. They are shifting their focus to the larger market that mostly downloads free games. And they aren't cheating anyone out of money, the consumer can decide whether to pay for additional content or not.
Charging for additional content is one thing, i.e. additional level packs or other common DLC. NG does something else, they nickel and dime you. 'Hey, we have a game you can play, but if you really want to get anywhere, you'll have to pour money into the game [TP: D & Eliminate] NG took DLC, and turned it into a cash draining monster.
Actually what they are doing is better than DLC. For DLC all you can do to get it is pay for it. With freemium games, you get the game for free and then you can play the game normally and earn the items, or you can just outright buy the items with real money. I don't see the problem that most others seem to see.
The problem is in the long run you're dumping more money into the game than you would with normal DLC. Yes, I know, 'you're not being forced to buy it' but really, if you want to get the full gameplay experience, you need to.
Why do you need to dump money into the game to get the full experience? All the stuff that you get by paying is stuff you can earn for free by playing.
i just want this game so bad any of u think it might come out this week and for those of u complaining about the price of the dlc stfu and grow up.
You're right, you can. Nothing like playing for 10 mins before you need to wait. There's a difference between DLC & NG's business model.
