I'm unable to advance past Sacred Ruins stage 7 because it's guaranteed to crash somewhere in the middle of the stage. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm not sure if it has to do with using the repaired sword.
There have been several players experience crashing with the Falcon Blade. Use another weapon and see if it crashes.
Anyone know of any similar games? I absolutely love this game but have beaten everything and gotten every treasure and want a fresh experience (an option to reset all stage progress without losing achievements would be nice so I could replay it through again and again) but any recommendations would be great!
I see in the latest update it supports iCloud sync. I see in the statistics page I can download data from Gamecenter or iCloud...does anyone know if this saves to iCloud though? Had to do a full restore last night and my saves are loooong gone Edit, NVM. I looked at it wrong..my saves are there. SO HAPPY.
Coming back to this glorious game to get the latest expansion finished. I am not following this advice. How do you "talk to" him? I've equipped as indicated but nothing happens (it's simply equipped). If relevant, there's a question mark weapon slot above the rusty sword but the price is blank and I can do nothing with it. Edit: Nevermind. Figured out that you have to take it to 5-1.
As a game designer I have to agree I don't like there being no visual clue for the hidden areas. Combined with levels that don't allow backtracking from certain points it's very frustrating. There's a reason I stopped playing platformers about 10 to 15 years ago. What saves goblin sword is how short the levels are. Worse are puzzles you get to before you have to tools to solve them *with no indication this is the case*. Wondering if I need some tool to get the second chest on level 4 is why I'm in this thread in the first place. This kind of cheap tactic to force retraversing of levels was born of the NES's crappy hardware. Made in 1983 in Japan, its popularity in the us came quite a bit later. Making the user retraverse levels was just a way to squeeze more play time out of a very limited amount of ram. However, some of these games do not do this kind of thing, like Braid or 140, proving it is not necessary to be cheap to be good.
Any chance of getting an update with new level? It's been a long time since they've added new stuff. Would be nice right about now.
That would be awesome but I don't expect as much. The amount of value provided via all the free expansions was insane. This game is in my all time top 10.
Just saw on the Twitter machine that this is getting the X treatment "soon." Psyched to dive back in and replay.
