Agreed! And yet if they dared to charge $0.99 for the forthcoming content update we know that they'd be flooded with 1 star reviews on the App Store and be labelled "greedy developers" by the ignorant masses. Such a shame.
Wow, another content update? This has been the best $2 I've ever spent. Though, I hope it'll have iCloud to back up my progress. I lost my progress last time I switched phones. I feel kind of bad asking for anything though since the dev has been this generous so far.
The new content will be free. We dont want IAP in our games. Unfortunately iCloud will not be in this update. However we have included a password system, so that those that may have deleted the game or want to start playing on another device can immediately start enjoying the new content. There will be three passwords: unlock all chapters, start with an extra heart and a 2000 gem bonus. The update will include a new chapter, the Shadow Temple with 16 new levels, 2 new bosses, new equipment and more. It has already been submitted to Apple for approval, so we hope to release it next week if everything goes well. Thanks everyone for the support!
Great news! There could be a "donate button" somewhere in the menus. To support you guys with a dollar, or two.

Holy...! Goblin Sword is receiving a new update. It is the only game that has lasted for a year and to see it still receiving that love, it's truly amazing. Great job guys!
I can't believe I never got this before I love this. Fills the platformer hole in my life. It's like Foursaken made a platformer and published it under another gaming company It's the perfect mobile platformer. Tight levels, challenging, keeps progressing, funny enemies (think the cannon-armed Piglet is pretty awesome), etc. It's what a certain other platformer with swords and dungeons only wishes it was devious enough to be AWESOME SAUCE. 6/5.
Couldn't agree more. Would love to be able to "donate" and this is definitely worth an additional.99 but the cheapos who feel they should get everything for free would be up in arms. After hearing about the update, I re-download and started to play from scratch (didn't know there would be codes, but would have done anyway). We have a quality platformer, perfect controls, and tons of replay value. Can't thank the devs enough for their work and dedication to this game.
Looking forward to playing this again! Really love the design. Unfortunately my save data disappeared during the middle of my initial play through. But definitely worth playing again!
