To me bosses are about pattern recognition. Understand how they move, and your weapon choice doesn't mattter..
Bosses are all about learning their patterns. Weapon choice doean't really matter but the most efficient is the strongest and fastest weapon. Range won't matter when you know their attacks. The less time you deal with a boss, the less time you have in making chance errors considering you have limited health. Excalibur has a pretty OP special attack. You can chase the 3 beams across 2 screens and it'll blow everything up.
Finally beat the last boss after a ton of tries. There's a def techniques that makes it easier wich I won't spoil, feel free to pm me. Such an awesome little game.
I agree about the jumping on heads should hurt them, I've lost a heart several times as it's instinct to jump on their bonce. Also agree it Would be great to have all the crystal and chest locations on some type of wiki thing. Maybe some lovely TA member with a blog would like to take on the challenge?
Thanks guys. Going to have to strongly disagree with jumping on enemies should hurt them. Sure, this is normal in certain platformers but I don't think that mechanic fits with action platformers such as Goblin Sword.
Finding same, on ipad mini. A and B seem to crossover. I'm only starting the game and already died because the character jumped when I clearly hit the attack button! Hope they fix this. It's a cool game, like a bit of retro, it reminds me of the games I played as a kid. there's too many of them about trying to be retro now though. I said I'd choose just one to try it, and chose this.
The second secret level (chapter 2, level 16) is KICKING.MY.ASS! Holy crap, I would've rage quit if my battery indicator didn't hit 10%.
Do you have triple jump yet? Much easier. The secret is to save your powerups only for the knights. There are 3 knights. You'll have to go around the bums and track back to get the powerups for the knights.
I don't actually. I've been using that ghost relic. I'll look into getting the triple jump when I actually can play the game.
Difficulty really ramped up for me in the castle. Got every chest and crystal in the forest. What sword and relic are people using? I have the cutlass and using the heart relic.
Is getting the dragon pendent worth it. I just beat the minitour in the forest and have enough to get it. Does it have like a dragon the follows you around and blows fire or what does it do?
3 of the games I was planning to get me through the weekend aren't functioning properly for me at the minute and seeing this game and all the amazing reviews for it I think I may have to pick it up while it's still on sale. Suprised to actually see 50 TA reviews on this, helps give me confidence about getting it as I did take a look on launch day but thought I'd see how it goes.
